Quick hitters: Pros-quiet machine, easy to operate, no problems running on it Cons-not fun to assemble (at least the one we got) This review will be based on 2 things: operation and setup Operation: As far as operating the treadmill this item is very nice. It’s quiet and comfortable running. I am 5’10” and I ran on the treadmill at 6.0 with no issues of length or width of the treadmill. I inclined it a little as well to check that out and that works well too. What I like about the treadmill is that it has some quick starts on the panel where you can simply click “6 and it takes you to 6mph.” It does look like there are built in programs as well but haven’t tried them yet. Overall, using the treadmill is easy and we really like that aspect. Cons: The delivery team was TOP NOTCH when bringing the product into the house. That’s where the positives ended with set up. My wife and I opened up the box (no issues all parts looked new and nice) and read the directions. They seemed simple enough. We even watched a YouTube video and it looked like it’d take maybe 30-35 minutes. Well, just over 2 hours later we finished setup. The biggest headache was on the 2nd step. The “grommet” did NOT fit in the slot it was supposed to. I spent 30+ minutes trying to file the plastic to fit it in the slot. It was very frustrating. Additionally, the labeling of the parts (screws and bolts in the package) was confusing and really could’ve been improved. Lastly I don’t like the marketing scheme they use saying your treadmill won’t work unless you activate ifit. That’s completely incorrect and also really not cool. Just hold the ifit blue button on the screen for 15-30 seconds and your treadmill is good to go Overall, We like the treadmill and it’s a good add to our cardio equipment in our basement gym. I would recommend the product but maybe have geek squad set it up to avoid the hassle (which is what should’ve happened for us because I’m a total tech member but it didn’t Happen and I needed it set up by Christmas Day) So-treadmill for walking and jogging (I run 5 k 4 days a week in nicer weather) is great! Ok this treadmill is seriously awesome. I did a lot of research and digging to find one that would fit all our needs. It’s not super loud when running. It doesn’t shake when I’m running. It has a great display and can hold my iPad while I run. There’s spots for drinks. It has a 300lb weight capacity. It can fold up to save space. When lowering it you can actually let go when it’s halfway and it slowly lowers itself. It’s wide enough for us to run without causing problems. It has great speed. I honestly love this treadmill. It was worth every penny. I’ve used it every other day since I got it and have had no issues. You can also bypass the Ifit stuff by holding the Ifit button down for like 20-30 seconds and then it’s good to go. It took a couple hours to put together but it was easy. Instructions are easy to follow.

Purchased PRO-FORM Treadmill from Best Buy a few weeks ago. Have been using it about a week now. So far, so good. It's a basic model, nothing fancy. Fairly quiet and smooth. Glad I got the installation option. It took about 2.5 hours for the 2 members of the Geek squad to set it up. They did a great job and it was well worth it. It would have been almost impossible for me to set it up alone and at least half a day with help.

Pretty quiet, yet sturdy. Got it on sale and have had it for 2 months. I've liked the ProForm series and they've been pretty solid.

I love my treadmill, it is very quiet, not too big.

Had the geek squad put it together--took about an hour. Read the directions a number of times to make sure I did the operation correctly. The machine does what I expected and quietly.

It's exactly what I expected and that's a good thing. I use it everyday for 1 hour and I find this machine to be very comfortable. Is not very noisy and can be moved by a single person if necessary.

So far it works pretty well it's pretty smooth and quiet.

Quiet and the right size for my apartment! Assembly was not difficult. You don’t have to use iFit though. Don’t get sucked in!

Sleek and quality design. Pretty quiet for a treadmill.

This was an upgrade from a very old, basic treadmill we had. It was pretty easy to put together, but you definitely need two people. I mainly bought this because I saw it had an indented part to the front panel where you can rest stuff like phones and music players, or even rest a large, heavy book if you're walking and wanting to read. The side compartments are very spacious - I was able to put a smaller book in one and a drink in the other. My boyfriend noticed how quiet this thing was compared to our old one, and he said underneath had a bunch of movement and suspension while I ran at 5mph which seemed to do very well to keep the run quieter overall. This also seemed to help keep the panel stable so your stuff isn't shaking or moving while you run. You can't bluetooth your phone audio to it apart from the iFit program, I think, but there is an aux 3.5 mm connector and I really enjoyed listening to my music via its speakers using that connector. The fan is great. The display lets me choose which setting to show (distance, speed, etc.).The most annoying part was just activating the treadmill - I had to create an iFit account and activated the free membership - they require you to put in credit card info in order to complete the free order. VERY frustrating. Be sure to cancel the auto renew of the membership after if you really don't want it. I still haven't figured out how to delete my credit card info from their site. Also activating the treadmill was a problem - the red warning on the panel had an activation code that did not work when I tried activating that via iFit's site. iFit.com/activate kept bringing me to a login screen. So I had to call Proform support. Luckily, automated system said for activating the product with iFit, to press and hold the iFit program button until there was a green light lit up above the icon. I don't really know what the red image's activation code was for. My boyfriend thought maybe iFit DID activate the product even though the iFit page said the code wasn't valid. Regardless - after 15 minutes of headache, I was finally able to use the treadmill. I was going to give it 4 stars for the activation headache but I really did like my first workout on it so I'll keep it at 5. The Proform site was really easy to set up with registration. I just wish you could buy a great treadmill nowadays without the dependency of a workout program or giving your address, credit card info, and phone number to people who don't need it, JUST to use it. Maybe I did something wrong - maybe Proform can clarify this by responding to my review in case I did do something I could've avoided with activation, for potential future customers. :) Else, Proform - make this iFit stuff optional for people. People like me who are forced to sign up for these programs will definitely NOT renew due to frustration of being forced to sign up in the first place. But if I got something wrong - then update your instructions, please. :)
