I love this mouse. It is super comfortable in the hand. Honestly, I think it's the most comfortable mouse I've ever held. Good thumb button placement. Cool RGB. The charging dock is great. Highly recommend.

This mouse is probably one of the best I’ve used. Feel wise, it’s awesome. The rgb is a nice touch as well. Although I wish the battery lasted longer. One thing to note is that there is a wheel on the bottom that controls huge resistance on the scroll wheel. This wheel has gotten stuck for me numerous times and I’ve had to mess around with it to get it back into place.

By far favorite mouse of all time, it's an absolute beast! Pros: -wheel clutch -optional third side button -weight -grip The only thing i would change is the wheels ability to spin freely. It does not. Other than that it's flawless.

i've had this mouse for a little over 6 months and these are my thoughts. The dock+dongle cannot be plugged into a USB Switcher unless its powered externally. The included micro-USB cable is the only cable that fits into the mouse since its keyed with a groove on the sides. Otherwise you have to jam a third-party cable in there and then use ridiculous force to get it out. The software has been a pleasant experience for me. I set the dock to show me the mouse's charge level. The dock's magnets don't help me at all in finding the right place to attach the mouse. I have to fiddle around with it and even after all this time it still takes me a few tries. Tracking has been wonderful - Mouse isn't too light or too heavy and even after hours of use my hand doesn't hurt. Coming from a wired G502, this mouse checked all the boxes for me. It's been good for productivity and gaming. At this price (I paid $120 for mouse+dock) I would definitely buy it again but if it was closer to the G502 I'd probably go with that since the PowerPlay Mat seems like a better charging solution if you have the desk space/aesthetic for it. Solid Gaming mouse

Impressive wireless gaming mouse with excellent responsiveness, a comfortable ergonomic design, and a customizable experience. The optical switches feel crisp, and the 20K DPI sensor delivers precise tracking, making it great for both casual and competitive gaming. The Chroma RGB lighting adds a nice touch, and the battery life is solid, lasting through long sessions without issue. One of the standout features is the DPI clutch (thumb throttle), which is a game-changer for shooter games. It allows for quick precision adjustments without needing to cycle through DPI settings manually—perfect for sniping or fine aiming when you need extra control. My only minor gripe is that the charging dock can be a bit finicky at times, requiring precise placement to charge properly. Aside from that, it’s a fantastic choice for gamers looking for a high-performance wireless mouse!

Pros: - Battery Life - DPI side button is a game changer - RGB looks great - Weight is perfect Cons: - Adjustable scroll wheel is not accurate, one scroll click does not always actually scroll, this is an issue in games when scrolling.

Bought a bunch of mice to test them all out and the Basilisk Ultimate was for me the best weight and was most comfortable for my hand. Going on a year+ now with no issues. I LOVE the feature to tweak the difficulty of the scroll wheel. I use the scroll wheel to change guns in my games so being able to change the resistance level of that was a great sell for me.

Overall, Great mouse, the shape is wonderful, the sensor precision is fantastic. And of course, pretty lightsssssss ooooo, Caution, its little on the heavy side. If it were a tad lighter it would be perfect however that weight gives you a bit more precision upon a Left or right Mouse button click (you can click without moving the mouse at all) The only reason I give 4/5 stars instead of 5/5 is because they didnt include the charging dock with this version. I know they sell the more expensive pack that comes with the charging dock but that's a little bogus. The problem with this version is you have to constantly unplug the mouse to go into wireless mode but plug it in to charge, and its not the easiest plug to plug in. Overtime you can wear the plug down and I can see this being an issue which is why the charging dock version is probably better. One last issue is that this stupid mouse will constantly wake your computer up from sleep, even if you tell windows to prevent it from doing so. It makes absolutely no sense. It wakes the computer after 5s of turning it on sleep mode UNLESS you completely unplug the mouse and switch it off on the bottom. This means you cannot charge the mouse while on sleep mode without having the lights on which is bad if you are trying to sleep - this last issue is more of a software issue likely but Razer is a little annoying in that they are slow to fix such issues.

I bought this mouse twice. The first one I returned because the scroll wheel was not responsive. The second mouse (which I currently own), initially worked perfectly, but eventually became less responsive. This mouse has a feature that allows you to adjust wheel scroll resistance, and I suspect this feature introduces this flaw. Other flaws 1) The left and right wheel tilt don't scroll left and right by default. You need to program this using Synapse. If you are unable to install and use Synapse (i.e. it's a work laptop), then you will be unable to scroll left and right with this mouse 2) You can only recharge the mouse using the micro USB cable it comes with. Why: The charging port is an odd shape that makes other micro USB cables incompatible. Conclusion: if RGB is not important to you, get the Basilisk X. It's way cheaper and have none of the flaws I mentioned. I own two Basilisk X's and love them.

Purchased this mouse at the end of 2022. 2 Years have gone by, still using it every day and loving it. Replaced a Death Adder with this Basilisk after 10 years of service from my Death Adder. Very happy with the battery life, and the fact I can charge it and still use it.

I have owned this mouse for about 6 months now and have not had any issues. It runs smoothly, the light up features are great, and it is easy to recharge. The interactive features for modifying the colors is great too. I would highly recommend this mouse and for the price, compared to the MANY copycats out there, this is the best route to take.

Look, I have had a history of not liking Razer but I have gotten a keyboard and also this mouse from them and they were at the right price, delivered just as well or better than the competition and the lighting looks amazing. Don't buy based on brands; buy based on products! Razer: please allow people to set lighting that can run without the software running. Even if your software is the most lean, optimized thing ever it is nice to not have it running. Once I set it and forget it, why should I need it? If the system resets, then sure - but other than that, meh. Overall this mouse is premium and feels nice. It probably shouldn't be quite as expensive as it is - and that goes for Logitech etc. mice around $150.

Love the color and the weight. I wish the scroll wheel had the toggle like the Logis where you can spin it once and it keeps going until you stop it. Also, battery life is not great. If you have the pedestal charger just know that your computer has to be on in order for the mouse to charge.

As a gaming mouse it hits 90% of the desirability with just enough programmable buttons for all but mech/simulator games. Mouse sensitivity is a little off in execution as the programmed buttons for triggering the speed up or down don't always do it and give you a notification. Hard to tell if it's just doing it and the companion app that sends notifications is just lagging/lacking. But within the app you can verify the set speed. Really, the charger dock should not be an option and there should be one package with it but so be it. The price I got this at was so good that paying for a charger dock was still worth it. Comfort is all there, but I wish it had a weighted/adjustable bottom like the Logitech series. That would have put it over the top for me. Weight just helps keep control when you're flinging the cursor all over the screen. For me the resisistance adjustment for the wheel doesn't do a whole lot, but its a nice feature for some, I'm sure. Overall a good mouse but a few tweaks would make it great.

The optical switches are God-sent, after having my FOURTH G502 wireless RMA due to double clicking I said "enough", and got this, it's fantastic, the ONLY issue is that the side buttons can't be configured to say, go back on a website or forward thanks to Razer's weird programing, so I have to use Alt+Left and Alt+right for them, these are important to me in games where melee attacks exist, and the problem being that the combination of alt+ triggers any key logged with Left Alt, not a biggie for most but annoying, this is the only thing I miss from the G502.
