Thank you for your feedback KevG. Universal remotes are designed to work with most major TV brands including your TCL, but not every function can be guaranteed for every TV model. Some advanced or brand-specific features may not be accessible due to manufacturer differences.

Bryce, we appreciate the feedback. This remote is designed to control up to three devices and is compatible with many major brands, but some off-brand models and certain streaming devices can have limited compatibility depending on which code set is available.
If you still have the remote, try programming your TV/streaming device using a few different listed codes for the brand (when available), since another code can sometimes restore additional functions. If direct code entry doesn’t provide full control, the auto-code search option is also a good next step to cycle through the stored codes.

Hello Patroit162 – The remote is compatible with many Roku streaming boxes and TVs, but there are exceptions. This remote may not directly control Roku Streaming Sticks (which plug directly into the HDMI port and use RF or Wi-Fi remotes). or Roku soundbars that do not use traditional IR remote signals. If you are using a Roku box (not a stick), there are multiple codes listed in the manual for programming, and it may require trying each one or using the Auto Code Search to enable full functionality. Compatibility details are provided on the packaging and in the manual.

Hi Director – Thanks for sharing your experience. This remote is designed to support most TVs, streaming devices, and soundbars as noted on the packaging. It does not include code support for full home theater systems or advanced audio setups like Samsung sound studios. That would explain why you were unable to pair it. While this RCA remote is compatible with thousands of models, no universal remote can guarantee 100% functionality with every button across every brand or device type. Some advanced or proprietary functions may not be supported, especially for streaming or specialty devices.
