If you're going to be doing any videos or long photo shoots I highly recommend this purchase. Even though the batteries last a long time you never want to get stuck with a dead camera

Nothing fancy, just needed a second battery for my Canon 6D Mark II for a vacation where i planned to take a lot of photos. And this fit the bill.

I have a Canon 5D Mark II and I bought this battery for it. It does exactly as advertised. I would never buy off brand batteries. You pay for what you get, and canon is a good buy.

I mostly use my 5d Mark III for video and this battery lasts for hours! It's good to go with the certified canon battery - the other generics don't nearly last as long.

Don't fall for knock off Canon batteries, buy the real deal. I have never had a problem with one of these and any other Canon batteries I own. It's worth the extra bucks

I always buy name brand batteries for my cameras, and Best Buy usually has the best deals on them. This battery is still going strong!

I Have found Canon brand batteries to be more reliable and therefore a better value than a 3rd party battery that I have.

For producing videos, it's of course a necessity to have extra batteries. But these actually do last quite a long time, both in use and in standby.

I have no experience with non-Canon batteries, but for my $2000 camera I’ll spend the extra $20 on the battery.
