Great product if you have the money to spend on a device thats primary purpose is note taking without the distractions. If you need a device for more than that, I would suggest a ipad or similar tablet.

I love how how small yet so useful this product is. I usually just slip it in the side pocket of my bag or a jacket pocket and keep it with me at all times.

I bought this mostly to bring to meetings and use for taking notes and have ended up using it for so much more! I truly enjoy writing things down, sometimes i’m searching for things I meed to take note of. I bring it nearly everywhere I go and have seen a huge difference in my productivity and follow up on committed actions. Highly recommend!

It's expensive. I wanted to like this, I really did. The size is good. I like the smaller form factor. It sticks out of the pocket, but it still fits in there, need be. The folio case was also nice. I like that the pen, sorry, marker, fits in properly with the case. It feels like paper, in the same way an Impossible burger tastes like a real hamburger to a carnivore; a few bites in, you realize you're not eating the real thing. You can doodle on it and have some fun in that aspect. You can write notes with it. And that's it. I wanted it to do more.
I was looking for an upgrade for my kindle- the base 2024 version. I love the legibility of the grayscale e-ink screen with a blacklight, but the base version has the smallest screen. I wanted slightly larger screen, and not necessarily a full magazine like the other reMarkable options. I like that I can read a book and not have my wrists getting tired.
It checked all boxes for what I was looking for, except for one. Two, actually.
I have the problem, like so many others, where most of my e-books were purchased on Amazon. They make it really hard to move books (that you purchased) over to other devices. I can't entirely blame Amazon for this issue, as part of it is on me for not wanting to re-purchase a bunch of books. (Sarcastically. I don't think I'm the only one that believes this.)
I found a workaround, but that option was to e-mail myself a copy of the books, but since I had to work around with my laptop, it seemed really inconvenient to do so. It reminded me of back in the day when I had mp3 players for music and couldn't use them for a day because I had to load all the music in first.
I wish this came with an app store, that gave me access to things like an e-mail client or even Amazon's Kindle or other digital book stores,
I also don't understand why I can't hardwire via USB this to my laptop-I have to go through the app, or a web browser. It also lacks bluetooth. While I don't need WIFI to use this as a digital notebook, I'm limited on all the other features this device claimed to have. I tried setting this device up in a cafe over a public network, but I don't feel safe with that as my only option. Also, because this device doesn't have a web browser, I couldn't use the cafe's wifi. (laptop wifi opens a "agree to terms and conditions" page before they let you go online)
I think I was looking for an e-reader with e-ink first with the capability to write. This is a device meant for writing and drawing first, everything else after. It's probably why I can't transfer files from this to a laptop as easily as I would want to.
If I was in school still and needed notebooks I needed daily, this may be better suited for me. But then again, at a $500-$600 price tag, as a student, I would not be able to afford this.
If this could read books, I'd be a fan. If Best Buy had more Kindle Scribes in stores by me, I more likely would have gone that route.
It's oddly specific what this can do, but unless its what you need, I don't see anyone really needing this. It's really a "nice to have" gadget, especially for the price. The people who get a smaller gadget like this is doing so because they don't want to carry extra things like other devices. I really wanted this to do the few extra things like be a decent e-reader.
I also wanted something I could occasionally sketch on. Unfortunately, that random screen refresh if you use any color got really annoying really fast. Also, the matte finish they use to give you that "paper-like" drawing experience is essentially a really fine sandpaper for your marker tips. I've read some reviews saying their stylus tip barely lasted two months. I went to two stores, played around with 6 units, only 2 had workable styluses, as the tips were too worn down on the others. Over the years, I've used several Galaxy Tabs and Surface laptops, both with pens. I think I've only replaced the tips no more than once on any of those previous devises. If I'm spending upwards of $500+ on a device, I expect a certain level of longevity out of it. I'd personally give up paper-feel for longer lasting pen tips.
All that being said, what I like about Kindles, is that they do one thing, but they do that one thig well, also at a significantly cheaper starting price.
Perhaps I picked this up with using it for things it wasn't entirely intended for. When it fell short in what it was meant for, I couldn't justify spending this much money on it. On a list of similar devices, I can't see its justification for being at the highest in price only. I understand limiting technology, and perhaps taking things away. In that philosophy, it's not okay to charge more for those things taken away.

I bought mine 2 weeks ago and loved using it. The pen felt great in the hands and th writing experience was the best I have had on a tablet. However, I seem to have lost it and cannot find it. My suspicion is that it was stolen. This is where my low rating comes from: there is no way to track or find the device if it is lost. There no GPS or tracking so if its lost, you better hope you find it or someone turns it into the lost and found. I cant strongly recommend the device since the lack of tracking ability on a device this expensive in 2025 is a huge oversight.

I love the small size. I can put it in my purse and carry it around when i need it. Just wish there were 2 pens to switch from on the menu like the RMPPro big one. I guess because of the compact size they only allow one. You have to tap on it to switch pens. A little laggy changing pages.

i love this writing tool. writing on it is superb. HOWEVER, i had to return it. it’s just not worth the price tag. battery is horrendous. marketing ads emphasize 2 weeks of battery life. my experience was otherwise. 3-4 days and that’s with wifi and lights off. and it’s not like i use it for hours. not even an hour in one use. coming from Supernote, i am spoiled. i don’t have to recharge for weeks. i get at least 4 weeks in one charge. if the price of Remarkable Move goes down considerably, i will consider it. But at the current price, not worth it.

Compact. I have the older reMarkable2 and love it. This one is great. I want to warn you that there are a bunch of updates when you initially start it. It did glitch a lot until the updates were done. None since.

I really like this for taking notes. I have the paper pro which I use for work and this one I use for personal use but they sync very well so I have all of my info available on both.

I have been using remarkable paper 2 since its launch and was excited to add this as a more portable notebook. The form factor is very nice, and battery life is mediocre- but I was aware of it from reviews. What I couldn’t get over with is the writing feel and quality. The pen was not as tight as the one I have and the tip wiggles, and the display doesn’t have that paper fee that I loved - more like a textured glass. Quite disappointed.

Excellent digital notebook — truly the best paper replacement available. Outperforms iPads and Android tablets in simplicity and focus. The Kindle comes closest, but this device sets a new standard.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I can write while standing, like on a notebook and then transform to print
