From beginning to end this game will chew you up and spit you out. Despite that you’ll be coming back for just one more run! The sound design is top notch and begs to be experienced with headphones. The graphics are incredible and the music all come together to bring you an amazing gaming experience. The new patch allows you to finally save your game in the middle of a run if you need to step away for a bit and the game crashes are all but patched out. Housemarque knocked this out of the park for their first third person game.

One of the best ps5 games on the system. Gameplay is thrilling and the story is intriguing

Fun fame with a challenge. Cant change the difficulty so levels and bosses can be tough.

I’ve played about 8 hours of Returnal, and it is an awsome, incredibly fast, and action packed third person shooter. It is most certanly a unique game. It has amazing visuals and audio. It keeps me coming back for more despite the defeat once dying. I highly recommend this game for someone looking for a game to invest in, learn from, and which will provides a serious challenge.

This game was made for PS5 with the the feedback controls, stunning graphics, 3d audio and game play. Dont like not having a save feature at launch.

Hard rouge-like arcade shooter style game. Fluid controls, and luck of the draw randomly generated maps make this an interesting concept that works 85% of the time.

Solid game mechanics and catchy play. Stupid difficulty with a bit too much randomness to being able to make a clean run. Worth buying on sale but 70 is pushing it

Awesome game. It’s a rogue like game so every time you die you start over again. I’m not a fan of these games but this one they do a great job of telling you a bit more of the story almost every time you die and restart that it doesn’t bother you as much that you just died. Also they do a good job of shortcuts to get right back to bosses. Just know the game is hard. Much harder than a souls style game, despite that it is addicting and beautiful to look at at runs at a smooth 60fps.

Returnal, fight, die, repeat a lot. Collect items, upgrade your gear, fight alien artifacts and monsters. Be strategic in your attacks, some of the machines do not move, so learn how to dodge their attacks. The landscape changes order of appearance after every death. Great visual graphics, decent controls. You learn more of the story as you find items. Plan on dying a lot, and staying over. This is not a super easy game to beat in a day, it can be exhilarating or frustrating at times.

This game has been pretty polarized. For those of you on the fence, you gotta understand that this game isn’t about simply winning. It’s about exploring, perfecting your skill, and making your character better before trying to take on a boss. I was wary and this game feels like a new game every time you run because the rewards are completely different. Environment is spectacular and dual sense controller is awesome. Throw is a Steel Series pro headset and it’s totally immersive. Don’t think twice.

Frustrating but fun. Great graphics and runs fantastic in 4k. The controller haptic feedback is really good and makes me hopeful for future PS5 titles.

Fully utilizes the new consoles capabilities. Gorgeous and detailed world, unique enemies and fighting/weapons system, demon souls style concept and gameplay brought into an alien universe. So far I have put about 6 hours into the game and have found it to be a game in its own class/style. Controls and gameplay are easy to pickup but do not underestimate this game it has its challenges. Picked it up on sale which is always nice, but I would honestly say it is worth the full retail price.

Great game, great graphics, great story. I die a lot, but this game actually wants you to die a lot, so I guess I'm a pro.

This game has everything you could possibly be looking for in a video game. Excellent graphics, exploring different habitats, and battling all kinds of different creatures. It will keep you interested and involved for quite some time but you will really be enjoying it at the same time. I saw the trailer and I thought it might not offer a good challenge but I was absolutely wrong. It provides all the challenges that you can want. I know you will really enjoy this game.
