Rexing 2-Channel front and rear winner

Recently upgraded with this 2-channel rexing and I'm pleased. Why? Because out of the box everything is included! The cameras provide clear & high quality videos you can access via the app to view and or save when necessary and cloud storage with subscription. This is essential because the cameras purpose is to capture the moments on the road and provide evidence for us. What's new in this install is the OBD-II port power connection which was easy to install. This will make your install be from the driver side. Install took about 120 minutes on an Outback. I comes with one electrostatic film I used in front and got a second one to use for the tinted rear. I LOVE it doesn't come with a screen in exchange for less size and becomes less of a distraction. Parking mode, gps, wifi connection.
I've used dash cams for 10+ years and this is my third rexing, an extremely reliable brand I've never had one fail only upgraded. I do wish the cables were a bit thinner and the cable tucking tool was bigger but this kit doesn't require paid install. Rexing provides a QR code linked to how to install the product, ANYONE can do by themselves. The most imprant thing is having clean windows before install and camera placement checked before removing the 3m adhesive. From my experience the cam sticks to the electrostatic film in 100+ degree whether.
Definitely watch for sales and buy this unit.

Easy Install Without Fuse Taps

I like that I did not need to find and tap into a fuse in my fuse box. The OBD port plugs in and I can set the voltage to the cutoff I like. The video quality is nice and I have clarity in low light conditions like in the pic. I was hesitant at first because of possible subscriptions to use it, but I am using it with the included SD card without the subscription just fine. So I can elect to do the subscription later but still use the app and cam in local mode just fine. I did not have to buy anything else to get this kit to work. Everything needed, to include the SD card, was in my kit.
Only challenge I had is the Y like cable that connects the rear and power t the main cam. It's a little thick there so i couldn't hide it along the windshield trim (see pic). Other than that it was an easy install and I am really digging the APP menu and video quality. This is definitely a step up from my old cam.

I have owed several rexing dashcams in the past and they have gotten better over time. They now include memory card and hardwiring cables that saves you on accessories. It has gps as well that can record your position. The video quality is pretty good. Wish the cellular had 5g capability. But overall a solid dashcam.

I’ve used many different models of dash cams, some excellent and some just downright garbage. I bought this Rexing 4G dash cam to replace a terrible Nexar Beam2 Mini (highly NOT recommended by the way). This rexing dash cam has proven to be very reliable in terms of connection to 4G and accessing footage from anywhere. The price of the subscription is fair. The camera itself is of very high quality, with an included rear camera for $299, but I bought this on sale for $199. Video quality is impressive on the front but the rear needs improvement. The sound quality also needs some improvement. Installation was straightforward and easy with just a single connection to the OBD port.
The app though leaves a lot to be desired. The app is riddled with bugs and poor English. Also very complicated to navigate. There is no option to connect directly to the camera’s WiFi while in the car. You can only view footage and download through the 4G connection, which will use up a lot of your data.
Lastly, just being nitpicky, but the light on the camera itself can be very bright and distracting. I’ve solved this by just putting a piece of black tape on it.
I recommend this camera over Nexar, but the app could definitely be improved. This camera just came onto the market, so I’m sure they will make some needed updates to the app.

I’m really impressed with the Rexing 4G LTE 2-Channel Dash Cam—crisp 2.5K front + 1080p rear video, GPS tracking, parking mode and instant push alerts make it a standout. Easy to install and gives me great peace of mind on the road.

Solid dash cam. Recommend connecting to it Via WiFi whenever you need to do something but the cellular ability works really well in a pinch or if you just need to view anything like trips. Use the WiFi for any video viewing.
The video quality is amazing and it hooks up easily through the OBD port so really anyone can install it.
Good job Rexing.

Great Rexing Quality

I've used a few Rexing dash cams in the past and they really do improve with every passing generation.
Quality - in terms of build quality, handling one of the newer dash cams such as these feels like the difference in quality between the first generations of smart phones from the early 2010s compared to smart phones from the 2020s. What used to be adorned with cheap plastic buttons is now replaced with solid clicky buttons and really neat, curved, but modern styling.
Ever since the batteries went capacitive, I haven't had any issues with premature battery death.
Wiring is also improved now that it plugs into the OBD port instead of the cigarette lighter. The cabling is more future-proof since it uses plugs that can be replaced in the future on the dash cam side. In the past, the earlier generations used microB and the switch to this new cable type was a pain, but now that it's consistent, it's easier to upgrade without having to re-run all of your cabling.
Camera quality - 2.5K is definitely clear enough in the day time to catch license plates and most details that you need. 1080p rear works in the daytime in good conditions. At nighttime is where nearly all dashcams become less HD and more of a glare-fest, but they still serve their purpose in capturing the gist of what's happening around you.
The LTE function has been helpful since I've moved into an area with more compact parking where door dings have unfortunately been more frequent. I wish I had the option of adding my own SIM card, but luckily their lowest package is about the same as what I pay for my backup SIM anyways.

4G Connectivity and loads of features

I have a lot of Rexing dash cams, and I have been very happy with all of them. They are reliable and well made and this 4G LTE connected 2-channel takes the already great features that Rexing offers with their camera line up to a whole new level with the 4G LTE connectivity. Now you can have a live view of your front and rear cameras as well as real-time GPS tracking. Secure 30-day cloud storage is included with the $9.99 monthly subscription (covers the cost of the LTE service) and that gives you 1GB of data transfer. You do have the option to add more data for a small fee if you find that you need more, but from my use this past week, 1GB should be enough for a month easily. You do get your first month free according to the descriptions, but when I signed up, I was not presented with the option of a free month. I had to contact Rexing support, and they instructed me to cancel after the first month and do the set up again, so just be aware of that bug that you might experience. Rexing support was quick and, although not the ideal outcome, they did provide some guidance. Another feature of the connectivity is you can set up Push notifications and by default, they are all set to on. So, you will get an abundance of alerts to your phone. Ignition off, Ignition on, Anti-theft mode, Overspeed, GPS changes, Parking alarm…. There are many options. I turned a lot of them off to keep my sanity, but it’s nice that you have options here. The camera connects to your OBD2 plug in your 1996 and newer car and I found that the cable is a lot thicker than I would prefer, so you may have to get creative when tucking the wire to have a clean installation. There is protection on in the app that you can set up so it will not drain your car battery down as well. Speaking of installation, it was easy to set up and you have everything you need including a transparent electrostatic sticker to help with the front camera installation along with a small plastic tucking/trim tool for wire management. Also included in this package is a 64GB Micro SD card to get you going, but you have the option to install up 128GB if you do, just look up which Micro SD cards work best since Rexing has some recommended cards that they prefer to use. The rear camera has a 22ft cable that was able to reach the rear of my Gen 4 Honda Pilot with some spare left over. Both cameras provide great daytime video and night video is decent, but not the best in my opinion and it is really hard to find a camera that is great at night. Bright lights tend to blow out the image so don’t expect to read license plates during the night with the rear camera, especially if your rear window is tinted. The camera itself does not have a screen in it and it only has one button and a status light. You can quickly hit the button to save your video or take a picture and that is handy to have. All the set up is done via the OnaGo app. Also, another great benefit of Rexing cameras is the extended 18-month warranty when you register it and from my past experience, I had no issues when I had to replace one of my cameras under warranty.

The cellular connection on this Rexing camera and mobile app allows remote access to view front and rear camera feeds, as well as saved or historic dashcam events. It supports all the features we have come to expect of rexing cameras now with remote accessibility thanks to its cellular connection. Super simple one button interface in the car and intuitive mobile app. The install is literally one cable via ODB2 for power, and a second cable if you want to run the rear camera (recommended).
The only downsides to this cellular connected devices is that it doesn’t have a physical screen in the car to play back video (monitor really), and it doesn’t support your own SIM card, so you are stuck paying their monthly plan fee based on how much you access/view and play back video on your phone.
Overall a great capability for someone who wants 24/7 access to dashcam coverage of their vehicle

I got this as an upgrade to my older Rexing camera. I it was small, and yes it had a visible screen which was nice, but it didn't have very good video quality and was difficult to go back and view videos. I was looking for a replacement that would allow me to go back and view videos easier, as well as have better resolutions so that I could see license plates better. This new camera connects to my phone which is a nice feature. All in all, this seems like a good camera. I did not realize it has an OBDII power cable connection, instead of the normal DC car charger connection, until I received it and was confused about the cables. But luckily it was quite easy to find the OBD Port and plug into my car. I'm actually glad that I get parking surveillance now, without having to hardwire the camera to my car (I was not willing to do that with the last camera). And it came with the back camera which was nice. I do wish that it still had a screen to view videos on the camera if I wanted to, but that's not a big deal. I'm happy with it so far!

I bought this new Rexing dashcam to replace my old V1, the video quality is crystal clear (2.5K front, 1080p rear). A new feature, which is a big bonus alongside the included 64 GB card, is the new 4G LTE connectivity, which gives you peace of mind because you can have a live view of your car anytime. All in all, great new product from Rexing, and I am sure to be a returning customer the next time I need a dashcam!

Purchased this dashcam April 4th and arrived just a few days later. It is a full featured camera with front and rear cameras included. The connection is to the car data port (OBD2), not to the usb or the 12 volt outlet, but it was not difficult to get it going. The accompaying app is full featured and the image quality is really good. I purposfully aimed the camera at the sun to see how it would handle high contrast and it was no problem at all. At night it does a great job with clear images and readable license plates of the car immediately in front or behind you. Good parking protection features as well with clear voice prompts. It came with a micro sd card already. I am very happy with this purchase.

I love that this camera uses the OBD connector. I was using a fuse tap for my old dash cam and the connection never felt very secure. I wish the dash cam supported microSD cards above 128gb so I could swap over my microSD card from my old dash cam which was 256 gb but of course the main selling point is the cloud storage so local storage isn't too big of deal. Overall my favorite part of the camera was the easy installation process

I recently purchased the Rexing 4G dash cam and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. The video quality is excellent — crystal clear during the day and surprisingly sharp at night. The 4G connectivity is a standout feature. I can get live updates, check in remotely, and even receive alerts on my phone, which makes it feel like I’m always in control, even when I’m not in the car.
The installation was simple, and the app is user-friendly. I love that I can view footage instantly. Whether for daily driving or road trips, this dash cam provides great value and peace of mind.
Highly recommended for anyone who takes safety and convenience seriously!

Had to get my hands on this new dash can by rexing. My privious models with rexing was beyond what i could ask for from the reliability to sleek desine . Install was far easier then my last model. Less bulky and the new obd power hookup was an easy plug n play process. The app was also fairly easy to to install and link with. My phone wiuth an scan of a qr code. Over all pucture quality and reliability from the dash cam had me blown. Not to mention the best part, 4G LTE , the live stream leaves me with Lee ss to worry about. When it comes to leaving my supra out im glad i have my dash cam.

This dashcam has been fantastic so far. The video quality is sharp both day and night, and setup was quick and easy. I love the automatic recording and the wide-angle lens that captures everything. It feels well-built and reliable. Definitely a great value (especially with built-in 4G and as well as a rear camera included) — highly recommended!

So, the first thing to mention is you don't need the monthly subscription to use and access the camera. The subscription would probably be for someone who has multiple people using a vehicle like a business or family car. Or, for someone who has to park the car in an unsecured area and would like the alert capabilities of this cam. The cam can send text messages and videos to the cloud if it detected a vibration, over speed, or a crash. You could also just "check in" by opening the app and view a live shot of the camera.
I like the customizable options. You can select how the camera works in park mode. The voltage cutoff and sensitivity are all adjustable.
The camera connect to the obd port so it's super easy to install and have the park mode capability without fuse jumpers and wire routing. It's slim and fits well behind the rear view mirror.
My only complaint is the light on the unit is bright! So you might need some black tape to cover it up.

Wanted something with front and back cameras, and an app, as having to pull the SD, or use the screen to view captures, or change settings is a bit annoying. This camera came with a solid kit, including the OBD-power thing, although I wish it had the option in the box for 12v socket charge, just to have. Cable length on the OBD reached from the bottom left of the driver foot well (RAV4 OBD port), up the driver A pillar, and over to the passenger side of the mirror. Wish the dash cam had the lens on the other side of the body for passenger side mounting, but I think it was intended for driver, to hide behind the mirror. The 3M VHB sticks really well, but the "slide" mount for the camera seems to be missing a detent to "latch" it in position. It doesn't move on it's own, but, a detent would be nice. The green LED is quite bright on the passenger side.
The rear cam is a small unit, but again, has a clear intention for where it gets mounted. I fished it down the cable gland from her trunk lid into the headliner, then up the passenger side of the car, managing a decent job hiding it. (Had some other cables that made some of the spots hard to use to hide more cable.) I did end up bundling 4-6ft of extra rear cam cable in the passenger A pillar, using the existing cable loom in that A-pillar to keep the cables away from the front curtain airbags.
I don't like that the cables are just push to connect, although they have good detents, so they likely will stay connected, but... My preference would have been screw connectors.
App is responsive, video is clear. Although if you log into the app on one phone, and then use the same account, versus "shared access", it logs you out of the first device.
All of that being said, I am thinking about upgrading my truck to this unit as well.

This Rexing Dash Cam offers advanced features, including 4G LTE connectivity, which enables push alerts and potentially remote viewing capabilities. Its 2-channel recording ensures both front (2.5K resolution) and rear (1080p resolution) views are captured, providing thorough coverage. It also comes with GPS for location tracking, a parking mode for security when your vehicle is stationary, and built-in Wi-Fi. I’ve had my current dash cam for over 3 years and although it still works, I wanted a newer dash cam that had a live parking mode. This new dash cam was exactly what I was looking for. Bonus points for a free month subscription! Video quality is great during the day and night. You can easily read license plates and zoom in if needed.
