Way cheaper than having to high dollar for a security system with a contract. Love how you can add on other cameras and sensors.

I have framing that is causing the sensor to be marked as "open" 24/7. Maybe should have had these professionally installed to avoid this issue. Overall it's a good concept and maybe operator error but the self install isn't as easy as it looks.

You can find various tips and examples for installing a Contact Sensor on different types of doors and windows here: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043818431-Tips-for-installing-your-Contact-Sensor-2nd-gen-.
