    Ring Alarm is my favorite security product, and the second-generation system only reinforces that view. It’s priced right, offers all the right components and services, and the optional professional monitoring service is an absolute bargain. Helpful connectivity to other home automation systems.

    For a DIY person like me this system is perfect. There are a few glitches but for the most part the system works great.

    It would be better if I could use my Amazon Echo as an additional security camera I also wish that I could set it up with desk top PC. The device naming could easily be more intuitive and it would be very useful if it could make alarm calls on my landline and allow me to send patrol request to my local police department for alarms for times that I am out of town. It would also be nice if ring offered some open source sample interfacing programs. All in all this system is pretty easy to set up and seems to work well.
