Very happy with this product. I have 2 systems. Very easy to use

I bought for this for my daughter as a gift for her first apartment and she loves the security it gives her.

I have had a Ring video doorbell and an indoor camera for a couple of years. Living in a changing neighborhood with more car break-ins and porch pirates. Hubby bought and our adult childand I had it installed and operational in 1/2 hour. It was easy bcause i already had a ring account. I like that a pro monitoring service is not mandatory.

Have this system all set up. Works well, easy to set up. Door and window sensors work well, camera good video. You get like 30 days to save your videos, then Ring wants you to pay to save your video, like $3 monthly, per camera or $10 a month for all. (something like that). Not fan of that, should be free storage for a few days at least. Don't store video now, just alerts. Don't think there is an option to store locally, like SD. Haven't looked to deep though. I have Arlo cameras in other areas, and don't pay anything for 7 days of storage. All in all its a good system, and especially if you want to pay someone to save camera videos for a few days. It works well, easy, good cost, and does everything suggested by Ring. Prob. Would have rated it one higher with free storage.

Wonderful! This 65 year old grandma did this all by herself. It was a breeze. I sleep better at night knowing i will hear any contacts or motion detector go off. Really a bargain!!

Easy set up. Directions are easy to comprehend and the app worked without any issues. Found and added each device easily. Option of no added cost or monthly / annual charges for professional monitoring if desired. The camera records 24/7 and can be reviewed with motion detected scenes / sections highlighted in blue. Can easily arm and disarm with the base station or with the app. Highly recommended for these above reasons.

Love the sturdiness to all ring products. Set up for this kit was actually very easy. HOWEVER, there are a lot of features in the app when this kit is installed. I find the more options and “slide-buttons” to actually make using this alarm system more confusing. Pro:: I love the window open and close detections. I am saving to buy more. FYI, you must have this kit to use those! As well, the motion sensors for windows and doors keeps and history log for you in the app, which I love when it comes to ensuring that my kiddos made it home safety from school and into the house. Overall, the ring alarm kit and products are a great diy budget and warrantied system for most any homes.
