Great Ring camera that is compatible with my batteries. Plug and use, the camera angle has improved with a wide view. The camera does not use too much battery life, which we enjoy.

Easy installation and amazing coverage. My area satellite coverage doesn’t support “Bird’s Eye View” at this time so that application isn’t available to me.
Otherwise it performs exceptionally well.

Finally upgraded since my old Ring Doorbell Camera started giving me problems. This model has great video quality for both day and night. Love the “Person detecting” feature since it reduces the amount of notifications that I would get. My old model would go off for every car passing by the street and would result in too many unnecessary notifications. App is easy to use and setup was a breeze.

I am very disappointed with this Ring doorbell. It doesn't work as well as the 2nd generation one I had before. The picture quality is excellent but my problem is horrible connectivity to the chimes, the Ring app and Alexa. Many times people ring the bell and the chime does not respond and we don't know that someone is at the door. Sometimes the app rings and sometimes it doesn't.

It sounds like you experienced some connection issues with the device. To determine whether or not the problem is caused by poor upload speed, run a speed test to determine if your network can support Ring devices. In edition to ensuring that you have sufficient wifi speeds, you will also want to check the signal strength of your device. Ring devices require at least 1 Mbps upload and download speeds, though 2 Mbps is recommended for optimal performance.
A poor wifi signal can cause connectivity with your Ring device to be unreliable. Check the Device Health section of your Ring application to ensure the device’s RSSI is within an acceptable range. The recommended range for optimal performance is 0 to -60 for the RSSI.
If your networking equipment hasn’t been power cycled in a while, try unplugging it for 30 seconds and plugging it back in. Wireless networks utilize different channels for communication. In the United States, the 2.4 GHz band uses channels 1-11 and the 5 GHz band uses channels 36-165. In some cases, setting up your Ring device(s) can fail due to wireless interference or congestion.
Even with your Chime Pro, your router is still your main source of connection for your Ring device. Ideally, the maximum distance between the router and your device is 20-25 feet with the Chime Pro about halfway between the Ring device and your router. If possible, try moving the router closer to the device. Also, make sure your router is not in a closet or behind furniture, like a sofa, so the router has an unobstructed signal.

The product itself is good. I purchased another one first which did not work with my 90 YO mother's modem. It was purchased as an early Christmas gift that we installed for her. I then purchased the above Ring and exchanged them at her residence (3 hours away). On the way home returned the first one and the store did not want to return any monies as it was more than 30 days. To get any money back i had to purchase a membership.
At this point i don't know if I will shop there anymore.

Great camera quality, but the security screws that come with the product are poorly designed... There's barely enough threading to catch onto the mounting plate. My only recourse for one of the sides where the security screw wasn't catching was to use a different screw.
