We understand how valuable the Ring Chime Pro can be to your home security, when it's properly extending your wifi signal as it is designed to do. After the Chime Pro has been set up, you will want to ensure the device has been linked to the desired Ring devices. Here is a helpful article that walks through the linking process between your Ring device and the Chime: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034840052-How-to-Link-your-Ring-Devices-to-a-Chime-or-Chime-Pro.

Once the device has been set up and linked, follow these steps to verify the device has been properly connected:

* Tap the three-lines on the top left of the Dashboard screen.
* Select Devices.
* Choose your Chime or Chime Pro.
* Make sure the camera or doorbell you want is connected to the Chime or Chime Pro.
* If not connected select Chime Pro Network and connect your device.

Being able to rely on the alerts to know when activity is detected is an essential feature of the Ring Chime Pro. We are eager to address the issue you raised in your review and provide you with a resolution today.

It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. The Ring Chime Pro is designed to provide you with alerts from your Ring devices at home. Simply plug your Ring Chime Pro into a wall socket and follow the guided instructions in your Ring app.

If your Ring Chime Pro is not connecting to your network, we recommend that you reset the device by pressing and holding the rest button on the side of the device for 20 seconds. Follow the steps in the Ring app to setup the device to your network. We have included those steps here:
Open the Ring app.
Tap the menu (≡).
Tap "Set Up a Device".
Follow the in app prompts to complete the setup.
