I just don't use it at all beacause I later realized that I don't want imagery of the inside of my house up on the internet. I have no proof, bu it seems like something that would be vulnerable to hacking, which would be the opposite of securing my home.

We can definitely provide you with some information regarding your concern.
We want to assure you that your safety and security is our absolute top priority. As a result, one of the features we’ve implemented is mandatory two-step verification. This added layer of security helps prevent unauthorized users from gaining access to your Ring account, even if they have your username and password. We’ve also built the Control Center within the Ring App. You can access this to view and manage important privacy and security settings, including Shared Users and Authorized Client Devices.

We already had a ring doorbell so not sure why this wasn't our first purchase. We bought another brand and could never get it to work!

I don't have to worry about charging as much. Obviously a plugged in version can only be good in certain areas.

Best camera for the money
