I really wanna tell you thst this is the camera system you need, because RING is an awesome surveillance camera name. They're a very reliable brand and this outdoor cam battery is a pretty good addition to the RING ecosystem. However, if you aren't already in the ecosystem, with the RING doorbell and maybe even the Spotlight camera system, this isn't a very good jumping off point. The RING app is easy enough to set up and the package does come with everything you need to hang your camera outside (except a drill or screwdriver) but I'm sure that's a given that most housholds would usually have that. There are even ankers to make sure your camera will stay smug in the sheetrock as well. This is a relatively light camera, so it should hang well just about anywhere.When you first open your camera, be sure to take the battery out of the base and throw that bad boy on charge. Now, this brings me to a glaring problem. I opened up the package and pulled out the charging cable, and I was greeted with a micro USB charging cable. That's a huge red flag. This is letting me know that this battery isn't going to last as long or charge as quickly as a battery that is being charged by a type-C connection. Not to mention that this charging cable is itty bitty. Again. If you're in the RING family of surveillance systems, this should go well with what you have already. But if you're not? I feel like there are better and more affordable surveillance options on this website. I like it, but I don't love it. Oh! And yes. It does work well with your Alexa and Google Home systems, but there's still a need for paid assistance if you want to feel fully secure.

I bought one for my deck and I really like it! I have the Ring floodlight between the garage doors to cover the driveway, but had nothing for the deck. This fit perfectly, and lucky for me I caught it on sale... The picture, both day and night, is excellent, and as with all Ring cameras, they automatically connect to your subscription. Highly recommend...

Easy setup and works great. Use it to monitor our backyad and pool area. Love that i can twll it to only monitor for people.

We love it. I had inexpensive cameras in the past. We upgraded to the RING. When i tell you the features, the quality, and over all experience. Hands down, the best #1

I have many of the ring wired cams around my house that work perfectly and this one also does the job. Software is easy to use and hardware is easy to install.

Great camera with exceptional quality. I got this to cover my entire front door for packages. The doorbell cant catch the entire area when packages get dropped off. The ease of the install was pretty straight forward and setup with existing system was just easy. But everything has to have at least 1 drawback or gripe. Mine would be that the battery cover is just a phillips screw, unlike the ring doorbell which has a tamperproof torx screw. This isn't a deal breaker for me just the only thing I could complain about.

Great camera! Easy to install. Amazing color picture with a wide view. We put it in our backyard and we can see everything. We did attach a Ring solar panel.

I like the width of the camera plus the lenght of the view from the camera. I would purchase it again. The price was reasonable also.

If you need some nice security cameras these are them and go the extra mile and buy the solar attachment it works wonders!

Love this, it shows exactly what I want and was very easy to set up along side my other Ring. Quality is great and I feel safer knowing it’s watching. Lol

Easy to install and set up was a breeze however battery life is too short so have to recharge it every two weeks. The picture is clear and covers a wide are over my garage door. Would recommend get a wired one instead of battery powered.

Lately we’ve had a few instances of a neighbor coming onto our property, entering our horse pasture with their young child, and walking up to the horses to pet them. This just is not safe to do without either my wife or me being present. I’m sure most people don’t just assume they can walk into someone’s yard and pet their dog without permission. This camera gives us peace of mind that we’ll be able to monitor our property while we’re not at home and we loved that it was on sale. The video is clear at all times of day, the night vision is great, the motion alerts are helpful, as well. I’d recommend this camera to anyone, we have multiple Ring cameras and have yet to be disappointed with any of them. The Ring app is super simple to navigate, which is an added bonus.

Excellent quality camera with wonderful video shots. It’s in a darkened area and can still show everything I need to see perfectly. Well worth the purchase!

These cameras are perfect for what I needed. Adding them to my existing Ring app was a breeze and took about 2 minutes each. Installation was simple but I did by some mounts that helped me get my desired angle. Over I would highly recommend.
