This is easily my favorite Ring product to date, and I am fully invested in the Ring ecosystem. Installed this quickly and easily on the exterior of my brick rowhouse located on a moderately busy downtown street. Setup was simple and I was able to easily integrate this into my Ring home security profile. Mounting was straightforward. Placing this on the corner of the house allows me to see the street, sidewalk, gate, and entire side yard of my home thanks to the wide angle the HD camera captures. Offers me peace of mind that any passerby who might be up to no good would be in full view of the camera. The speaker in this is LOUD. I tested it out on my partner who was gardening outside and he was quite startled by the volume, but would be incredibly useful to deter anybody who was unwelcome. One thing to note, this is NOT a floodlight. The lights on the camera are not very bright, and seemingly have no effect on the clarity of the video at night (which is already excellent in night mode)…more or less the lights are a feature that can be turned on to signal to somebody that they are on camera. This model runs on the standard Ring quick-release battery pack. It comes with one installed, and has a second compartment for another battery to be installed to lessen the frequency of necessary charging, which is amazing! Overall, I am obsessed with this offering from Ring. I often check in on the app just to see how busy the neighborhood is throughout the day while I’m away at work. Absolutely love it!

Great picture quality. Dual batteries last for good amount of time. Just make sure you put it somewhere you can access easily to replace them (sorry if that is obvious). Has worked flawlessly even in extreme weather.

I am upgrading from the previous generation, and very pleased so far with the added features, camera, quality, video, quality, and detection, zones and system. Installation was very quick and easily integrated into my ring ecosystem. I highly recommend.

I love it. I went with the battery one so that I could just install it myself. It was quick anf easy. Great picture and it been over 3 months with the same battery.

I love the quality of the videos and how it allows me to change whether I want the light. The only downside is that the battery drains faster.

Excellent Unit. Worked perfect right away. Added a solar charging panel and 2nd battery. This combo keeps it working just fine without having to run electrical wiring to it. Picture, sounds, speaker, motion detection and lights all working great.

It has great definition! Sound clarity is great. The light on it its VERY bright!. Make sure u buy an extra battery for this thing it eats it up very fast.

I bought this to replace the previous 1080 P version as it continuously failed to record and capture any motion. This camera is slightly better. The 2K is nice, but it’s not sharp enough. Still not able to get license plate numbers or face details little choppy at times also. I’m too invested in this ecosystem is switched now, but if this camera fails, I’ll be searching for a pay once only option with all the options that the Ring subscription has.

Its a nice outdoor unit and the picture quality is excellent. Could be a bit brighter but still gives off ebough light to give seveal meters of light in each direction. Night vision is very good. Overall no compaints and im running with 8 cameras to cover all sides and interior of house

Camera works well, i suggest getting the solar panel so you dont have to recharge the batteries. I found I was charging them once every couple weeks. Great camera for the price

Works very well. Very clear picture video Great sound!

Bought for in-laws for security at their property. Coverage is really good for front and back yard. Simple install with a hammer drill(brick). Good quality of vision and sound. Only issue was having to move their modem/router to get better reception for the devices. Think about getting wifi extenders.

We did get a battery with the camera that doesnt last, but I ordered a back up one from amazon. I love the setting and alerts, charging battery is easy, set up is easy.

I needed another camera for my property. I move the older ones to other locations. I like the Ring systems. Planning on additional 2 shortly. I have no problem with these camera's.

This camera works great, I like that you have the ability to have satellite imagery detecting every step of the person from when they came on your property and follow there walkabouts. You can easily turn it back to picture mode or watch both at the same time, the picture is amazing even night vision is very clear. I also brought a 16 foot cable to keep the batteries charged so I don't have to take them out to charge them every couple of months works great.

Has long range on connection with WiFi and very clear view

This is an excellent product. Ring pro products are wonderful. You have several options in setting it up to provide you with security. You set it up to notify you if it sees a human or for anything. You can set it to work in conjunction with another ring alarm so that both lights will come on if one is activated. There other functions as well that will really make you happy.

We have had no problems with this camara and have been dependent on it to safeguard us and our home by supplying images on a consistent basis to identify problematic people or with incidents that involve construction. We have the ability to download these images to provide needed information and proof to addresses any problems.

The video is much better and has a wider field of view than the previous generation.

I had an older versing of the ring cameras. Just wanted to update my equipment. This company to me has one of the best home surveillances, that you can buy and easy to install yourself. The set lasted me over ten years and still worked, so I donated it to the mission so someone else can have an secure home.
