Ring Doorbell 3 Pro (Wired) - be aware!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Ring Doorbell 3 Pro wired version with high expectations, but overall I’m disappointed with the product. The biggest drawback is the removal of the traditional house chime feature. It’s unclear why the company decided to eliminate such a practical function and replace it with the tiny “Chime Mini,” which feels like an inadequate and frustrating solution. On top of that, the Wi-Fi connection has significantly dropped compared to my previous Doorbell Pro 2. It makes no sense why a newer model would perform worse in such a critical area, especially when reliability is key for a security device. When speaking with customer support, their solution was to purchase Ring Chinme Pro/Plus etc. Remove features so you need to purchase more products to replace your current feature. Fantastic strategy for the company, Not for your customers. On the positive side, the video quality is solid, clear and reliable, which is what you’d expect from a premium device. Unfortunately, that single strength doesn’t outweigh the frustration of losing a key feature and experiencing weaker connectivity. If Ring wants to keep customers loyal, they should reconsider decisions that strip away useful features and degrade performance in favor of less effective alternatives

Installation was easy, comes with everything you need, and the housing doesnt require that special security allen key thats easy to misplace. Image is clear and the low light looks very nice. Wider field of view and setting it up according to your preferences is easy through the app. Highly recommend.
