This review is not about the story all are familiar with, "steal from the rich and give to the poor", which actually isn't the focus of this film anyway. I'm concerned here with the quality of the 4K presentation here. Having recently purchased an LG OLED TV I was stunned with the attention to detail, richness of color and cinema quality of viewing experience. Ridley Scott has been one of my favorite directors since 1979 with Alien and this film does not disappoint. I'm a big fan of film scores and Marc Streitenfeld delivers with a rousing soundtrack worthy of the epic quality of this film. I hope other films of Mr. Scott make it onto 4K. On the negative side the film froze on Chapter 14 which required ejecting the disc and reinserting it and starting from the "resume film?" point. It played fine past that. This has happened to a few other 4K films I've watched, a minor annoyance. I gave this 4K disc 5 stars on the quality of the image and sound-I'm impressed.

I’m always a little skeptical of 4K transfers of films that were released prior to the recent 4K movement. However, this film looked absolutely beautiful in 4K. I was very pleased with the picture and sound quality. As for a review of the movie itself, obviously I’m a fan or I wouldn’t have purchased the movie. Underrated, fun movie with strong leads and an interesting take on the Robin Hood story.

I Love this movie, its the Best of all the Robin hood tales in my opinion, next to Errol Flynn it don't get any better than this... It has been out a while, but not the 4k version and having that and in 4k digital is worth the awesome Price BB has for this right now! Its a great story, great acting, and just an all around great movie...

Excellent movie for those who enjoy to watch medieval times with a lot of action and great special effects. Excellent story line that will keep you wandering throughout the movie how the rise of a new hero will end up protecting his own people from the king madness, Recommend 100% .

Superb cast throughout along with a typical well-done Ridley Scott direction. Good battle scenes, as well as some sentimental moments that let you learn more background regarding the various characters. A slight twist on some of the more recent Robin Hood versions (thinking about Kevin Costner's) version, but well done.

Always like Russell Crowe movies , this movie is well made , nice length of movie not too short either , lots of watching time , good action scenes , has both theatrical and extended cut on 1 disc , 4K picture and sound is awesome

This is definitely one of the best Robin Hood movies for sure!! Worth checking out! Way better then the newest one. This one has a great group of actors and a pretty strong storyline to boot!!

Awesome movie I don’t really go for movies that go in time, but this one was another thing it was really great we really enjoyed most of Russell Crowe movies

The picture quality was wonderful and the sound was great! Love watching it on my new HD TV! It's like going to the theater but with the comforts of home!

I love this movie so much and it looks good in 4K. It seems to be more in line with what I always thought that the Robin Hood legend is.

Russell Crow plays a nice part and the story is a good one, gives you the reason to why he's called Robin Hood.
