Didn't work for our needs

By connecting soundbar using 3.5 headphone jack was able to use TV remote vs soundbar's remote. My soundbar didn't have HDMI. Didn't want to have to use separate remote for volume.

Very Very Short

I also tested it on a system I know works with optical audio and the cable made the sound cut in and out.

Perfect solution for a problem

For some reason (maybe an update), the HDMI connection would trip the receiver off. My wife wanted to buy a new receiver, but I wanted to try this. $18 later, everything worked again.

Great little toslink cable

Locks right in without falling out and I like that it looks different than my other two so I know what's plugged in.
