Great product, not meant for split monitors though

If you're looking to do that, you need a docking station. Rocketfish never fails, I just didn't know the correct equipment to buy.

One in, Two out. Same picture. It has yet to be tested with two different output resolutions. 4K in, 1 4K out and one 1080p out. Will post results upon test completion

The splitter has been working well since I purchased it 1 month ago. I purchased a less expensive splitter that would niot keep the signal active to the 2 flat screens, so I purchased this unit. The only complaint is the cost, it was $60. 00 more than I wanted to spend for a splitter.

NVR Splitter working great

The splitter box is small enough to not take up lots of space in the A/V cabinet area, and the input/2 outputs along with the power are all located on the rear to keep wire cluster down. No issues with signal drop or distortion while using Insignia 25' HDMI cables.

I have a new tv and a 12 year old tv and the unit cannot be set for the tv you want to control. Mine kept going to the old tv and wanting to switch my HDMI on my new tv.

It is powered, so you will need an open outlet. It is surprisingly expensive for what it is. It would be better if it came with it's own small HDMI because you don't need it to be 3' or 6' feet away from the source you are splitting (which are standard sized HDMI cables). It doesn't come with any HDMI cables, but a small one that connects to your source would be helpful, then you could still use what ever length you need going out to your TV, Repeater, or Monitor or wherever you are going. It would also be a better design if the LINE IN was on one side and the two (or more) LINE OUTs were on the other. The way it is designed now there are three HDMI cables packed close together, with the LINE IN in between the two LINE OUTs . So the center HDMI cable is pointed back toward your source while the other two head out to wherever you are sending them.

I plugged in my Apple TV to the unit and I have one output going to my Promethean board (big flat panel touch screen) and the second output going to my ceiling mounted projector. Great view for all students, regardless of where they are sitting. There is no loss in picture quality or sound, I am very happy with my purchase.

Excellent build with no loss in picture quality. Purchased an open box unit to save a few and was just like new, even came with a hdmi cable! Highly recommend this!

Plan to install on permanent basis later. Kind of like simulcast into two separate rooms. Be sure to use proper sized HDMI cable. Don't just connect several short HDMI cables. Signal loss may occur producing poor results.
