This adapter works great if you are getting audio seperately, like with a computer monitor. Hdmi carries audio and video where dvi is video only. This is rarely a problem unless you have an early hd tv that had dvi.

Using this adapter to connect a monitor via dvi cable to hdmi input in computer. And it operates as expected, seamlessly. No flicker or any issues to report.

Works as described and is simple to use. You can't get this wrong if you have a DVI monitor and don't have a DVI connection on your computer. No need to buy a new monitor just get this adaptor.

Bought this product for the 29" LG Ultra Wide Curved screen because the of the lack of HMDI port on the PC. The VGA to HDMI adapter work fine and did not impact the ability to divide the screen with the LG Application.

This adapter works great with my monitor. It's exactly what I needed. It works bidirectional. I'm using it from HDMI to DVI from my Chromebox to my monitor. Worth the money.

Make sure your DVI cable has the smaller version of the blade and does not have the holes for those 4 pins, Worked for me to hook up a single monitor but could not use a splitter that would have allowed me to use two monitors.

Used this to connect an old PS3 to a PC monitor. Works fine. I'm using a toslink cable and soundbar for sound.

I recently built a new computer, but my monitor is old but still works, so I wanted to keep it. This adapter works beautifully so I do not need to replace my secondary monitor.

It's a bit more expensive than some adapters from other sources, but it seems study and well built. I like the taper on the HDMI side since that helps keep it from overlapping adjoining ports.

This adapter was very easy to install and worked without any needed adjustments! Very clear and sharp images on the monitor.

Purchased this adapter so I could plug in a modern Laptop ( HDMI out) in to an older external monitor (DVI in) and it works perfectly. $20 is a lot cheaper than a new monitor:-)

This works very well. I have a DVI-based KVM switch, and my old DVI-based monitor died. This DVI-to-HDMI adapter let me continue using my very-expensive DVI KVM switch with a spare HDMI monitor I had. Very happy!
