CGI robots are horrible. I prefer Tv show design and effects. Tried to develop the characters at least and did pretty good job. But took too long to setup to start the action. Action and special effects are not good at all. 4k does show some upgrade.

I grew up watching the original Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers and loved it as a kid. It’s not the kind of show that has aged well for me as an adult but I still remember what it meant to me as a child. This film draws upon some of the early magic of that first season and gives us a high powered, action packed blockbuster rendition. Zordon, Alpha 5, Rita Repulsa and even Goldar are here. I respect the fact that they catered to the younger generation as well as the older generation. Nothing breathtaking here but if you want some mindless, CGI filled nostalgia, it’s worth checking out.

It's Power Rangers, so I went in looking for nostalgia more than anything, and ended up wishing the old show I watched in the mornings were more like this. Though it feels a lot less like the source material (Japanese superhero/sentai), it feels a lot more naturally western. A bit darker than I would have expected, while retaining the stereotypes I enjoyed before. Worth a watch if you liked the old show.

Watched the movie on an LG C8, so the poor HDR had nothing to do with the TV, it's just not that great for it. The movie overall was enjoyable the first time, but watching it again was not. It's hard to describe, but everything felt so forced. Also, the Rita Repulsa character was terrible, and reduced to not much more than a "gold" addict.

This movie was okay. The story was about average, I suppose. The acting was good in some parts and then in other parts, it was like, "what was that?" I didn't like that it took the entire movie before seeing the suits and zords. Overall, I think it was an okay entry into the Power Ranger universe and I'm looking forward to the next installment. If there is one.

I have never been a fan of the Power Rangers, but my daughter saw this movie in the theater. She really enjoyed it so I took a chance and purchased. It is not too bad, but they wait too long in my opinion before they get there armor to work. If they make a sequel, I imagine they will have more scenes with them in their armor and their Zoids.

If you like the power rangers, you will like the movie. The fight scenes are similar to the show, a little over the top but you know what to expect. This is a good start to the series but I hope the second installment (if there is one) will build from this and not base their hopes of revenue on fandom alone.

I grew up watching Power Rangers so this critique is totally biased. It was "ok". I felt like I was watching a modern day teenage superhero movie with the same plot and ending as any other modern day teenage superhero movie I've seen over the last few years. Where is the originality Hollywood?

This one is a fun film for the kids. This is one of the first 4K releases to have Dolby Vision HDR. I watched this with HDR10 and then upgraded the firmware in my Oppo and watched it again with DV HDR. The picuture was better with DV. I have an e6 LG OLED. I am looking forward to more DV releases.

For what it was it was a good movie. Wish they had more time in the suits, but I get what they were trying to do by making the Rangers worthy of the suit first. The Best Buy exclusive is great. The cards included are wonderful and great for a display.

I bought this movie because the kids love Power Rangers. This movie was pretty poor to mediocre though, it didn't really hold their attention very long. It took way long for the movie to get to the part were they transformed into Power Rangers. Elizabeth Banks was good in it though.

Grew up watching the original PR. My kids are now big fans because of Netflix. They have watch every installment. So when they wanted to go see the movie, I was down. The movie was not my cup of tea. But my kids love it. So that’s why I bought it.

What can I say, I grew up watching the original show. I may watch newer episode when it's on. This movie was ok. Don't get me wrong I liked it. I didn't seen it in the theaters but when I saw it on the rack I said the why not.

Wouldn’t say this is the greatest, but definitely not the worst, I watched power rangers growing up and it kinda follows that but it explains how they got their powers, honesty they could’ve done a much better job with as much hype as they put behind it

I found this movie entertaining and humors in places. I also found it cheese and stupid which honesty I expected the whole movie to be that way but it wasn't so the 3 star review. The atmos sound track is very well done which helped boost the rating.

We don’t expect much acting from the rangers. The old ones were awful, but this one is good. It was different. It was like breakfast club meets the power rangers. I enjoyed it. They better get the green ranger in the next movie

The Power Rangers came along after my teen years, but I managed to get into some of the story lines. This movie did a good job of following the previously set history of them, but did so with a better product than the original shows.

I went into this expecting complete garbage so maybe thats why I liked it. I watched a lot of power rangers as a kid and this wasnt half bad. Definitely worth a watch if you were a power rangers fan.

Don't expect Iron Man or Captain America content or special effects but, if you just want some average movie time, this should fill that need. It starts off a little slow, as most introductory movies do, but it picks up later.

Good but not as good as the original 90s TV show, I was a big fan of the 90s TV show but this is good just not as good. The newer generation may like it but coming from growing up to the original power rangers it was ok
