First and foremost is the fact that the camera needs extremely good lighting, otherwise it won't even take a picture. It will just flash "Too Dark" and beep at you. The unit is very lightweight which is good for the little ones I guess, but obviously lends to the low quality photos. Luckily this didn't really deter my 3 year old son from loving it, and exclaiming that this was "the Avengers camera that I've been waiting for!" For the price, I think the camera is made more for kids that love the Avengers than it is for budding photographers. Not a bad item for the cost though, as my son loves it, but I don't know that I would recommend it.

It doesn't work as great as expected. Pictures do not look very clear and I feel we wasted money buying this camera for our 6 year old at Christmas.

This a is a good, fun first camera for young children. The quality is not bad for kids just taking video and pictures of anything and everything. The only drawback is that there is not an option for memory card and internal memory doesn't seem to hold that much. It's not a problem if you transfer photos and video often.

But this camera for my granddaughter glad I had her with me she reminded me to get batteries for it camera works great but you definitely need a lot of light I recommend it if you're going to have the kids outside but inside the house totally different story she loves it

Yes they were only $15 and our boys use them to play detective. The really bad part is that after taking a dozen or so, the memory is wiped. The ONLY redeeming part of the camera is the great software it comes with. My boys can use it for any of our professional grade cameras to edit their photos and add Avengers embellishments and slideshows.

Great camera for the price. Perfect for kids. I thought they would not survive more then a couple weeks with the boys, but they are still going.

I bought this for my grandson for Christmas and you have to hold it very still to take a picture it doesn't work very good for kids

My son loves the camera. Not a professional camera but it works for an 8 year old.

My six year old twin girls love it. I bought a camera for both of them and they can't stop taking pictures. Very nice product for the price, and it's a nice introduction for young kids as they learn how to take pics with a digital camera.

Takes too long to focus. My daughter could barely take a focus picture. Whatever you are taking a picture of needs to be very still - also the camera needs to be perfectly still. If batteries fall out you loose a pictures taken.

Got it for my young son, he loves taking pictures and downloading them on to the computer.

This product too difficult to use for anyone and the quality of the pictures are ridiculous. I bought this on sale for $15 and I feel that was too much money for what we received.

The camera itself looks pretty cool. The design is specifically for kids. With the reviews that i had read, i knew that it wasnt going to be that great of a camera, but what four year old needs a GREAT camera? I would say that it is a good camera for a child. All they want to do is point and click and not really care about what theyre taking pictures of. As far as picture quality, not worth the money. If youre wanting your child to broaden theyre horizons with picture taking, do NOT buy this camera. Overall, its good for child play but nothing more.

Horrible quality that you can not even look at properly on the tiny screen. My son took 1 picture and he couldn't tell what was on it so he didnt like it so much that he didn't touch the camera since.

My Little cousin who's 8 years old always wanted a camera, so I gave him this one as a birthday gift and he loves it. He drives his mom crazy since he's always snapping pictures ! and the quality is pretty decent.
