Value for price, I rated that 3 stars because when I bought my washer it was $577 and now I see that it's $899.99. That's not bad if you have that kind of money, the washer is worth it. Quality, 5 star because this washer has not given me any problems at all, we have quite a few Samsung products and have had no problems with them either. Features, If the price is going to be $899.99 now then I would expect more preset wash settings. Performance, 5 star, This thing is great, my old washer was 22 years old (which is one year older than myself) and I had to wash our clothes twice to get the stains out and have them actually feel clean, this washer cleans my clothes like it's nothing. My husband does hardwood floor sanding and finishing, this washer gets the dust out of his clothes with and keeps them off of the other clothes, so I can wash his work clothes with our regular clothes. We also have a toddler that likes to get food all over her clothes. Jelly and juice on a white shirt, don't stand a chance.

Purchased in Feb 2011. Replacing 10 yr old Maytag top loader. Family of 5...lots of blue jeans, lots of bath towels. We're impressed with increased capacity over top loader. Can easily handle 10 large bath towels. Or, all sheets and mattress pad from a queen bed set. I like the quick wash feature for smaller loads. We also hav the matching gas dryer. The washer uses very little water compared to the top loader it replaced. It runs MUCH quieter. We didn't think it was running the first load we ran! We use ours in a basement so no issue with the vibration I've heard others mention. I can see the machine vibrating a little when it's spinning, but I don't hear anything...in terms of vibration. We are using with the matching pedestals. In the 3 months of use, we take care to wipe the gasket dry, to prevent mildew, as recommended. We also leave the detergent basket half-way open to allow it to dry. So far, no issue with the sour smell others have complained about. The contol panel is simple and straightforward. We are so glad we moved to a front load with the faster spin. Our clothes are cleaner and dry faster; whether hang-dried or put in the gas dryer. Our old washer left lint on the clothes that was obvious on the clothes we hang dried. This one doesn't! We highly recommend this washer (and dryer)!

    Does the job well

My first experience with a front loading washer. Does the job well- uses less water (seems like almost no water) and gets clothes as clean if not cleaner than my old top-loader. Wash cycle is longer- about 10 minutes longer than my top-loader but I'll trade that for the savings in water/energy. Extremely quiet- doesn't shake and shutter like my old top-loader. Most times barely know it's running. Does have quick wash feature for not-so-dirty clothes that takes the wash time under half an hour. NIce feature. Installation was a snap, capacity is fantastic, overall very happy with our new washer and dryer!

Having suffered through a Maytag which constantly smelled of mold and sounded like a freight train after 2 years, and a Whirlpool that lasted less than 2 years, I called a few local repairmen asking about this machine only to be told not to trust any front-loader for the home. Thank goodness I didn't listen! This machine is quiet. It is very easy to operate. It washes very well and uses so little water. ALL the water drains after each load. Yes, I keep the door open in the evening after the last load to let it air dry and close it the next morning when not in use. It has a sterilizer mode that is great for getting smells out of what I thought were lost causes (bath towels/sheets) from my prior machine because of the stale odor. The cycles are longer than my last washer, but the result is spectacular clean laundry so it's worth the wait. If pressed for time, I use the delay start feature for an hour and a half before waking. Upon rising, I just put the contents into the dryer and I am set! We were fortunate to get a great sale price on this washer. Cannot say just how happy and easy it has been! Even plays you a little song when the cycle is done!

I expected this to last more than 7 years! Paid additional amount for a 4 year black tie warranty. Never used it, wish I had that money back! Parts to fix this would be a minimum of $300.00 and my labor. But if I get into it and there is more wrong with it? Purchased a new one!!! I agree with others, Samsung, stick to Cell phones and get out of everything else.

This washer machine holds a lot of laundry and washes clothes very thoroughly. I was impressed with the bedding setting as well because on my old washer all of the bedding would not be washed. Before, some of the bedding would still be dry and untouched because the washer was so crammed full that water and detergent could not get through to all of the bedding. Not the case with this washer! The controls and settings are logical and useful. The pause/start button makes it easy to start/stop loads of laundry especially if you forgot to add something after you've already started the load. The only downfalls with this washer I'd say are that the finished cycle tone isn't very loud so it's hard to hear it when you're not in close proximity to the washer. Also, a load of laundry on the normal setting takes about an hour to complete which is about twice as long as my old washer. The upside to this though is that the clothes come out cleaner and drier so you don't have to put them in the drier as long, thus saving energy and time. This is my first front loading washer and for anyone that is on the fence and trying to decide whether to get a front or top loader I'd say go with the front loader. It may cost a bit more but the features and quality of this product make it a great buy.

    Excellent Product for Quality Washing

I bought the dryer and washing machine 3 days ago. So far I am totally satisfied with the product. I have been using the washing machine and dryer for 3 days. I have washed 15 loads and tried almost every setting the washer has. It really performs the way it advertises. The efficiency of the work is superb. The clothes are washed thoroughly. I have to admit that the cycles tend to be longer than a regular top load washer. But it is a trade off that is worth every minute spent doing laundry. The spin on the washer as well on the dryer is very quiet and smooth. The wrinkle free feature on the dryer is amazing. The clothes come out of the dryer with almost no need to iron them. The only thing I regret is not buy them before. I thought about not buying the pedestals because they are too pricey for what it is and what they offer. However, it makes it easier to load and unload your washer/dryer. I would also recommend to replace the rubber water hoses with stainless steel water hoses. Home depot sales them for $28. It has an anti siphon device that would prevent damage to the washer. This is a product that will make your life easier and will give you peace of mind knowing that you made a good investment.

I was able to fit our king size comforter in the washer. It does not get exceptionally dirty since it just sit on top of the bed and we do not allow the dog on the bed. It occassional gets a spot or two and to the laundry mat I would have to go. Not any more!!! It is so quiet and only uses the amount of water it needs. We bought it on sale which made the whole situation even better. I love the washer and it's matching drier. It does not take long to dry since the spin cycle makes the clothes only feel damp when they come out of the washer. I was a little concerned after reading the other reviews and the issues they had with the drum in the washer. My husband made sure all four shipping bolts were removed like the directions said and mentioned it could cause damage to the drum and warpping. Perhaps the other washers were bumped around during shipping causing the warping. I have had the set for over a month and use it at least eight times a week. (We have a good size family that are all boys who do not mind dirt.) I wold recommend this set to any one.

We didn't even know Samsung made washers, but this one was on sale at Best Buy for a great price just when ours died so we bought it, sight unseen. I LOVE it. The capacity is large for a front loader, and you can stuff it full without worries that whatever you're washing won't get clean. You need very little detergent and everything is clean and sweet-smelling. The washer spins the clothes a lot drier than my old washer, yet somehow the clothes are less wrinkled! I've washed bedspreads, sheets, plus regular laundry and have been happy with how everything turned out. The washer is very quiet, even when spinning -- great for those who have their washers and dryers in the kitchen or other upstairs locations. The two fellows from Best Buy who delivered and installed the washer were very knowledgable, too. They knew ALL about the washer and gave a little tuturial before they left the house. There are lots of options for washing -- extra rinse, heavier soiled clothes, less or more spin... A great washer!

This washer is great,it cleans our clothes, saves money due to the large 4.3 Capacity and a energy star product. On some reviews they say it takes longer to wash clothes in those new machines which is true but you can change adjustments to shortened wash cycles if need be which is great. Note: Being able to shortened wash loads with this 4.3 is a plus and save money at the sametime is (Super) in my book. The only thing I did when I purchased this unit along with the matching dryer was get Bestbuy protection plan on it due to this is a new product with new technology which help my investment down the road just in case it goes bad 6 months or a year from now; keeps my mind at ease knowing that I got protection.Note: The matching dryer is great also!!!!

set up was easy take time leveling approx 10 min to level properly after you read the leveling instructions. very quiet unit no vibrations noticed as of yet have done 8 loads with very good results on cleaning and it is supper quiet. first front loader washer so no comparisons available by myself but all reviews of samsung washers being quiet and smooth running are accurate in my experience so far. unit has lots of space for large loads alot more than our previous to loader. very easy operation of the controls. only need 3 table spoons of detergent to do a full load of laundry it works well and i was skeptical at first on the amount of detergent to use but it cleans the cloths just fine. hope my luck hold up and yours to if you purchase the Samsung WF330ANW/XAA .

I love this machine! It does a fantastic job cleaning my clothes for a lot less money. Uses only 14 gallons of water per wash compared to my old machine at 45 gallons and I can put almost two loads of clothes in at a time. But the best part is how quiet it is and how dry my clothes are before I even put them in the dryer.

This is my second front loading washer. That is true because the first one was a total frustration-- it walked, it sqawked and it left the clothes soggy, soapy and still dirty! My wife continually compalined about it and then refused to use the washer- so laundry went to my chore list. Thankfully the manufacutrer (not Samsung) stood behind their lemon and eventually refunded my money- it only took them a bit over 2-1/2 years to do that. With the refund money and after much careful reading of customer reviews, I selected this Samsung 330. I have had it several months now and am still COMPLETELY satisfied with it. I can put about double the amount of clothes into this large drum. It's quiet, clothes get clean, smell nice, the washer stays still as it spins the clothes dry enough for the dryer or clothes line- no more dripping wet, soapy clothes to deal with at the end of the cycle. AND to my pleasant surprise it uses only about 60% of the water of the previous front loader. That's about 50% or less of the water used by our very old top loader. I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH THE WASHER. So now I am not only doing FEWER, LARGER loads with LESS WATER, but the best part of it is that my wife likes the washer so much that she sometimes does the laundry now! What a sweet deal for me! Best Buy's sales people were very helpful and truthful. The delivery was handled very well. We got a nice price on the washer. VERY PLEASED. I have recommneded this washer and Best Buy to several friends, and so has my wife!

Our top load washer went out and we really needed to do something. My wife and I spent 3 weeks reviewing washers and dryers both. We knew people that had Front Loader LGs and thought they vibrated too much and were noisy. We have always been Samsung fans and everything we read tended to lean toward this washer and its matching Dryer. BOY AM I GLAD WE BOUGHT. I can't recommend this washer and the Samsung 7.3 Dryer Model: DV330AEW/XAA ENOUGH. You will be very glad you bought these especially for the money. You DO NOT need the STEAM feature. They are quiet and have saved us significant money on both our water and electric bill. I have seen the water savings by as much as $30 per month and our electric bill has dropped $25. I highly recommend both of these. We opted to stack them and put the washer on the bottom. It has saved us a bunch of room in our utility room. Great Purchase. Good Luck!

A very nice washer and dryer....

I purchased this washer and matching electric dryer and have had it for 3 months now. I would have to say that it has changed my mind about front loading washers in this price range. First off, I live in a single floor home where the laundry is on the first floor just off the kitchen. One of my top concerns was noise. This unit is quiet enough where I hardly notice it running at all. At first you concentrate on it because you are looking to see how loud it is during its cycle especially on the high speed spin. I don't know what I was expecting, but when you spend your first couple washes listening you are gonna hear something... it is not silent, But after a few days and several loads later, I realized just how smooth running and quiet it really is. Just be sure to follow the leveling directions and take your time to get it right. It will make all the difference in the world. The self balancing feature is really cool to watch work. The wash performance is excellent and this model has more than enough features and cycles for my use. The high speed spin is crazy fast and leaves the clothes barely damp making drying time very fast which was important to me since I am using the electric dryer. Towels are usually dry in about 20 minutes. Selecting cycles, loading clothes, and starting the machine is very easy and straight forward. Has a nice chime at end of wash and dry cyles instead of the annoying buzzer which is also a nice unexpected feature. Only thing I can really complain about, and it's a minor thing that I will make you aware of right now. The instructions are not especially clear for the unpackaging and setup of the machine. There are shipping bolts that holds the drum stable during shipping that must be removed before using the machine. What is not so clear in the directions for removing them is that there are 5 inch long spacers that must come out with the bolts. I didn't realize this untill I was taking the last bolt out and the spacer came out with it. I thought I broke something at first, but soon realized those had to come out too. I was only able to get 2 more out before the other one fell down into the washer. There is an access panel on the back that you can remove to retrieve it. But I didn't know that either till a repair man showed me how to get it out. Which brings me to another point of caution. In the matching dryer, electric in my case, never turn the drum by hand to the left. I guess it kinks the belt that drives the drum and pops it off the motor. You can only turn the drum to the right if you do so to remove clothes. I assume it is like that for all the Samsung dryers. It happened to me which is why the reapir man was there in the first place. Another point I want to touch on is SAMSUNG customer service. I personally had a great experience with them. I know some people complain about it, but they just asked my name, what the problem I was experiencing was, got my address, and within 48 hours had a tech at my house who fixed it very quickly at no charge. I would have to say the customer service was excellent as it has been with any problem or question I have had with any of my numerous Samsung products. I like the brand.... Oh one more thing... I have ceramic tile floors in the room I have the washer and dryer in... the washer is so heavy that it was very difficult to get it into place with the soft rubber feet. The tech showed me a trick to moving it on hard smooth surfaces.... Spray a little windex on the floor under the feet, once the feet are on the windex it slide pretty easily.

    Great Washer/Dryer

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I researched a lot of washer/dryers before my purchase. It came down to this one and LG (which is another great brand). I ended up going with the Samsung because I caught a sale. I'm very happy with the purchase. I've had them for almost a month and the washer/dryer work very well. I highly recommend them. The high efficiency was a no-brainer to buy with expensive as utility bills can be. The rattle I mentioned above was from the back of the washer. There is a small white plastic screen that vibrates during the spin cycle (which I fixed myself, not a deal breaker). For $700 it shouldn't rattle, but it doesn't effect the actual performance at all. Now, both machines are very quiet and they don't vibrate at all. I highly recommend this machine. Also, people have been bashing the Best Buy delivery guys on this site, but I had a very good experience with mine. I caught the free delivery deal and it worked out. They were professional and very helpful and even stacked the machines for me. On the stacking kit, the kit best buy offers (SK-5A/XAA) works for this machine. I hope this helps anyone that's looking.

This machine washes clothes great and is fairly quiet. It seems to have trouble sometimes finding balance for the spin cycle. Normally the washer spins out clothes so completely that drying time is very fast. When an attempt to spin fails because of imbalance it will roll the clothes around and try several times, but when a balanced spin can't be found it will stop leaving the clothes heavy with water. And, there is no way to activate the spin cycle only to attempt again. I would gladly recommend this machine except for the spin issue.

Absolutely Love the Smell of My Clothes!

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I decided that I should write a review because when I was looking for a washer and dryer I focused on the reviews from other customers. Even though this washer and dryer didn't have many reviews before I purchased it, I bought it because of the great reviews of the brand of Samsung. This was a newer model that Samsung came out with; hence the lack of reviews. The reviews that I did see were the regular reviews for front loaders; mildew smell, longer cycles and such. I figured I give it the benefit of the doubt and I went with the 330 series, and I absolutely love it! These machines are easy to operate and offer all the cycles that I was looking for. At first I was debating on the steam washer and dryers, but decided on this series because of the sanitizing cycle. This cycle obviously takes longer because of the job it is doing, but the results are great! The clothes couldn't smell better. Working in the restaurant business, I couldn't be happier with the results from this washer and dryer. It took the smell right out of my clothes unlike the top loader washers I was previously using. The VRT is great as well! I notice no vibration with the machine. I keep things sitting on top of the washer and dryer and nothing wiggles it way off. Its great! Just make sure the people who come in and install it, balances it correct. That's where people get their vibration problems from! Another feature I enjoy is the wrinkle release on the dryer, that seems to get the job done too! Some cons with this washer and dryer are the mildew smells, which I have not experienced yet. But keeping up with the washer and wiping down the door and gasket has kept it from smelling bad. There is also a Pure Cycle you can run throughout the night that cleans your washer as well! They recommend to use this after 40 loads or so. Run it at night and the washer will be goog to go in the morning. Some people think the long cycles are a con to the washer and dryers but who sits around and waits for your laundry to get done anyways. Most people go on doing other things, and wait for the sound to buzz (which comes with a tune). If you are in a hurry, you can always put it on the quick wash and it gets the job done. This washer and dryer overall is great! I highly recommend it! I hope this helps!

This is my first HE front load washer that I purchased with the matching dryer (DV330AEW/XAA). It has a very large capacity, haven't tried a queen comforter in there yet but I have a feeling it will be fine. Very quiet even when spinning a full load, and knows when the drum is off balance and will stop and recenter the wash before spinning again. Good mix of cycles and the standard wash so far has done a great job on a variety of different fabrics. Very satisfied with this!

We replaced our 20+ year old clunker of a Kenmore washer (and its corresponding dryer) with this Samsung model, based on advise from the very knowledgeble sales rep at our local BB. Since the basement where our new washer was going to be placed is being renovated to house our new family-den/entertainment room, we wanted the quietest washer (and corresponding dryer) that BB had at the time. We were steered towards this product mainly for the "least noise factor". We love our new washer (and corresponding dryer) for the efficiecy in which it cleans our family laundry. The only slight drawback would be that once you have the machine going, you cannot open it up to add any clothes you might have forgotten in the initial loading phase. We have therefore had to make a mental note of how many clothes we intend to wash prior to the beginning of the wash cycle. the highlight of this product is that it is indeed the quietest washer, ever.
