    The brightness level is decent, but I have much cheaper monitors with the same advertised level of nits that blow this one away. However, the worst problem is that the monitor's native color tone is very warm. It has trouble rendering pure white, which appears with a reddish/brown tint. You can try to work around this with the many color and gamma settings, but no combination will get this thing close to a realistic white point. The stock "cool" and "standard" settings don't help because they are considerably dimmer and miss the mark and overcompensate for the native tone with excessive blues. After you fiddle with the "smart" settings for a short time, you will realize that Samsung is MUCH more concerned that you use this monitor for streaming content than as an important element in your computer setup. The ability to display inputs seems to be almost an afterthought, buried deep within the menus. And the input options are ridiculous: one HDMI port and one USB-C. There is no excuse for this other and it seems to be a desperate attempt to follow Apple's ludicrous "less is more" strategy. At this monitor's price point, you have a right to expect more than it delivers.

    Much to my surprise, it is not possible to have a Samsung Smart TV, and a Samsung Smart Monitor in close proximity to each other. Samsungs ‘’awesome technical assistance” advice was to move the TV to another room. My solution was to return the stupid monitor. Has made me reconsider my extensive commitment to Samsung.

    Incompatible with Laptops

    Unfortunately this product was not compatible with my laptops (I have both mac and samsung) as the colors did not match at all and the mouse lagged on the monitor despite utilizing all available setting and multiple restarts. Not sure if I received a faulty item but based in my personal experience, I do not recommend for those who want larger displays for their laptops. I eneded up returning.

    Failed USB-C with iPad Pro M4

    Great product but DOA, many features and beautiful image quality only to be replaced on the first day. The connection over USB-C with an iPad Pro M4 failed and needed to get support from Samsung, Apple and finally Best Buy where they decided to exchange the device. Let’s see if the second unit works as expected

    Bad Deal on Open Box

    Got an open box. It was described as excellent condition “like new” but it had no box, no manual, no remote or other parts like HDmi cable. Would not recommend this open box
