However it was easy and quick to hookup and use with my newer Asus laptop via HDMI cable. Instead of using the blue light saver which seemed to darken the screen too much I adjusted the main light in settings to 50% .

I usually love Samsung products. The negative: I work with photos, graphics & videos, so correct color calibration is really important. Most people probably won't notice the color is off, I don't know if I got a bad monitor or what, but the blacks/whites are waaaayyy off. the whites are dingy and slightly yellowish. The blacks are reddish/purple. the monitor is not very bright, it looks dingy. I put this side-by-side to a 6 year old 27" Samsung that I love and it's a sad comparison, the six year old Samsung blows this away, the screen is bright & sharp and the color is perfect on the old one. Taking it back to replace it.

Very large screen, easy setup

Monitor seems to display desktop a bit on the white washed side, even after making adjustments and setting a better refresh rate.
