This washer is super quiet almost as if its not washing at all. I was used to hearing the washer almost to a breaking point when it was washing and with this one I feel that it doesn't wash good. Don't love the idea that it locks the door once it starts to wash but if you pause the wash, it takes a few seconds to unlock itself.

Great washer for the price. Easy to operate. User friendly. I was tired of the front load washer musty smell.

This is an “upgrade” but not so sure... bought this for my son after the last machine went out 2 weeks after warranty expiration. He is just figuring things out so, missed that the machine does not have hot water, he usually cold water washes so, probably didnt notice, and probably just assumed it was hot when it says that was the cycle! Let me explain - i used his machine when mine went out. I wanted to do the linens and towels using hot water - no hot water only cold!!! We checked all the plumbing to the machine, everything ok there, had to purchase new hoses so they would “install” the machine so we dont know what the problem is! Samsung? What is the problem here!!!

Only because I can't go lower. The delivery and set up from the geek squad for Best Buy was flawless and the tech showed me how he had ensured it was leveled properly. But from the get go the cycle was unbelievably slow to start, and then just drains and stops dead at the end without spinning. So had to put dripping clothes into the dryer which of course strained my dryer. Couldn't do heavy clothes or towels at all. Then the whole control panel lights went haywire. It was a nightmare trying to work with Customer care and Samsung that they they sent me to to get help and by that time I was so frustrated I just wanted an approval code so Best Buy would let me exchange. It has taken another two weeks of no one following up, their not being able to get a service company to my "territory" (I live 30 minutes from Metro Twin Cities) with still no resolution. They acknowledged they are only bothering to give me the runaround even as it is "under warranty".

Seems to be a quality appliance. Cleans clothes well but could do without all the music

So far I like the machine a lot. It does a great job of agitating the clothes. I've learned I need the second setting on the water level area to be sure my small loads have enough water. I also learned that I like a second rinse, so I set the machine on a second rinse. I am amazed at how deep the tub is. Sometimes I do a double bend to reach all the clothes. : )

So far we have been very please with the performance of our new Samsung washer. It cleans and spins very thoroughly.
The only thing I really miss (since we don't have a sink in our laundry area) is not having a spray feature that I can use to instantly wash the soap off my fingertips or dilute
the fabric softener.
Oops! gotta go, now. The washer is playing my tune.
