I purchased this washer to replace a similar washer by Samsung. I had a light in my previous washer and just assumed this one would have a light as well. I really miss the light. I would also recommend the stand to anyone getting the washer. If you already have one, verify this model works with what you have. There had been changes made and I had to buy another stand as well.

The allergen and steam functions are great for pet owners to help keep the allergies at bay

We owned this machine for a Month and it is performing as normal. It replaced a Sears Kenmore Elite that only lasted nine years. It is a little too early for a review that would be helpful to anyone looking at this particular model. I guess that is a good thing since we have not encountered any problems to date. Samsung's reputation for service is not good according to other Samsung owners. I, at this time, will recommend this however I just don't know if I will at a later date.

We bought this unit along with the matching dryer. It has been fantastic. We love the add wash function. Before we had a front load washing machine without the add wash door, and once it got going, we couldn’t add anything. It is also whisper quiet and super efficient.

Very quiet and reliable. Like the cycle for sport clothes

First, the washer looks cool sitting off-line. The Samsung does an excellent job of washing our clothes and they come out amazingly dry. We do not use a dryer and it takes a very short time to air dry our laundry. The machine will save you money on running a dryer, I would imagine up to half the time to dry, seriously. The machine is easy on water from what I can tell, it appears to use only a fraction of what our old washer used, more money in your pocket. Our last machine was an agitator, and it was starting to agitate me by literally wearing out my clothes. Have seen that the issue with wear have disappeared since the move to the Samsung. More money in my pocket. It is relatively quiet machine, but of course when it winds up a spin cycle you can hear it from an adjoining room but that is about all. My living room is two room away and do not hear a noise. Works for me. We have had the Samsung five months and have had no issues and lots of nicely cleaned clothes.
