Love Samsung TV's and don't buy any other brands. Got this TV to upgrade the non-smart TV that came with our travel trailer. It's so nice to be able to screen mirror from my Samsung smart phone.

Purchased as a gift for my mom. Unfortunately two other Samsung 43 inch TV’s she has owned lost picture but have sound. Samsung says it’s a “factory defect”. Keeping my fingers crossed this doesn’t happen again. This is a decent TV for the size and price. Sound could be much better with all Samsung TV’s..

I purchased this tv for my son as an "excellent" open box purchase. Waited 2 days for it to come. Tv came opened the box took the tv out. The whole screen cracked. It looked like someone puched the top of the tv. I'm taking it back as soon as they open. My son was so happy to get his new tv, the look on his face when he saw the screen was so hurtful! This is crazy!

I bought a Samsung 40” TV in November. The picture and sound break up intermittently. I have had BEST BUY an COMCAST tech people out to look at it, but the problems persist.
I now see the last day to return this TV was Jan 13. So now what do I do?

Purchased an Open Box - Excellent Condition allegedly inspected and approved by their experts. Was seriously damaged - Screen wasn’t even attached to the frame. BB has cost me many hours of my free time dealing with their mess. Will never purchase from them again.

PROS: Great Cyber Monday price. Connecting to wifi was easy. As expected it delivers a great Samsung quality Full HD picture. Color is good right out of the box but using the Natural color setting is perfect for our particular viewing set up.
The 20W speaker output is more than adequate for a small room but we also bought a Samsung All-in-One sound bar with bluetooth music mode. We use the included optical out cable for the tv sound and that allows us to also pair the speaker with two different iPhones for streaming audio.
CONS: The Smart Hub is pretty clunky. Also this model (at least from the Best Buy inventory that ours came from) does not have the Hulu app built-in nor can it be downloaded within the hub. We spent time on the phone with Samsung who sent us to Best Buy and Hulu tech support. All reps were great, but baffled by the issue and couldn't find or force the app to download remotely.
We are a high speed Xfinity internet only home. No TV service. So our work around is simple and perfect for us. We only use the hub via Samsung remote for switching between inputs sources (a Chromecast and a Leaf antenna). We use the Leaf and Samsung remote to watch local broadcast tv. For all of our streaming subscriptions we cast from an old unused iPhone 7 Plus like a dedicated casting remote. Switching between apps as well as app navigation and interaction (volume, pausing, rewinding, fast forward, etc) is superior and we use mobile app data saver options to boot!
