It took about 2 weeks to get used to it. Don't know if its because I bought open box but the tv turns off every once in a while. In about the 3 weeks that I've owned this, the tv has turned off about 5 to 6 times. It also has Bluetooth issues, if you are watching Hulu and it comes back from ads the audio has to resync again so you cant hear anything for about 3 or 4 seconds and if you try to rewind you have to rewind further back to a scene you already watched because the audio has to resync if you rewind too. I'm using Bluetooth with a sound bar maybe if you connect and optical audio cable to the sound bar it will be better for you

We appreciate your purchase and feedback on the TU690T TV. I'm sorry that you are having a power cycling issue where your TV repeatedly turns on and off by itself. Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue:
1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection.
2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it), or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.
3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
4) If the power cycling allows enough time between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.
If the issue persists after these steps, the TV will likely need service. Please contact us so we can better investigate your issue and assist you with a solution or replacement. I’m glad I’m still within exchange period so I can get it replaced. I have many other Samsung tvs and they’ve all been a great experience.

No one could find a power button on this tv either, so it was basically useless. Excellent condition means everything works and nothing is missing, yet Best Buy would not provide a remote. They wanted me to purchase an off brand one that would have put my total cost above what a new TV costs anyway. There was no way to power on the TV or use any features or even change the channel or volume...IE NOTHING WORKS! Best Buy refused to make it right. I was forced to buy a new TV and return one wasting hours of my valuable time and mileage on my car too when their customer service lines couldn't tell you anything other than that I had to drive an hour to one store...then another hour to the next store where open boxes were sent. So stupid, and they just about lost a customer here.
