I have to unplug it and plug it back in, unnecessary hassle.

After calibrating my colors and familiarizing myself with the settings and controls, i cant go back to my old setup. High recommend if you gpu can push it.

I have different speakers for that. It has lighting on the back of the monitor that adjust when gaming or watching a movie.

Other than that, it is possibly the best monitor when it comes to graphics and resolution, and it's a smart monitor, which is a plus. If you have the money recommend this monitor. If you want a monitor for gaming, just go with a monitor with a high refresh rate, like 144+ or 270hz. That's all you really need.

I set it up using the display port and working great so far. So happy I finally got around to this purchase. Love it and may replace future setup with am the same monitor unless I can spurge on the 57”.

It isn’t. I ignored the reviews and insisted the constant “overheating, white screen of death, black screens, poor dport compatibility” review were just a small handful of units…. I’m now 2 for 2 on these monitors with ALL issues mentioned…. For a $1000 monitor this is absurd… Sure you’ll have a warranty, sure Samsung will take care of you greatly… but is this monitor worth the headache? Not at all. RUN!

My only two complaints are; the built in menu, if you happen to lose hdmi signal the computer will turn off in 1 minute. Now this typically wouldnt be bad but my other complaint is that if you go fullscreen in games you will get a black screen which will not go away unless you either turn you computer off and on or unplug you hdmi cable and plug it back in (which only sometimes works). This is a hugely annoying and is causing me to consider returning it for a smaller display. If you dont game or go fullscreen for most applications I highly reccomend this monitor though.

If you're going to only do gaming, you might want a monitor with a stronger curve. But if this is a monitor for both work and play, you really can't do better.
