Best TV I've ever owned. Picture quality is excellent along with great color. Have nothing to say to the negative have had it for about a week now. Would certainly recommend this TV did a lot of research on which I thought would be the best for the buck was able to purchase it for around 1000.00.

Purchased this TV a few weeks ago and love it. The picture looks great, but does take some playing around with. I have tried the online settings on various website, but those seem to work better in a dark room when using the Movie setting. I have recently played with the Dynamic view and the picture is amazing, as this helps in my bright living room. The user interface is great and much easier to use apps, youtube, google internet browser and anything else that you like. Also extremely easy to link your phone, computers, tablets and anything else via wifi to play music, share pictures, etc. Overall, this was a great upgrade from the Samsung I bought back in 2011. We have watched great Blu Ray DVD's already and I am looking forward to upgrading my satellite to 4K to really see some of the great quality.

I bounced around from store to store and read reviews for a week before finally getting this tv. I was having a hard time parting with 1400$ for a tv but am glad I finally bit the bullet .. I was on the fence about what model to get, I had been in a walmart and saw the 6 series and out of curiosity went to bestbuy and saw the higher end models and wow what a difference the 8 series is (to me at least) The picture is amazing , so crisp and clear , it's almost disorienting at first :-) I was skeptical on the picture looking as good at home as it did in the store, but it's just as good at home and animated movies i.e. minions ,how to train your Dragon are awesome. It was pretty easy to set up and a huge plus was the tv picked up the direct tv signal/remote so I didn't have to enter any codes to get the tv and direct tv to sync.. Very happy with this and feel the money is justified with the quality of picture, has good sound aswell..

For anyone on the fence about purchasing a Samsung TV, the SUHD series is absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend physically going into your local BestBuy to view this line of TV's in action as a static image simply doesn't do them justice. My only complaint is Samsung's use of edge-lit back lighting. This is only really noticeable on completely black screens with small sections of white text, though it is noticeable. When playing video or games the picture is spot-on & the HDR on PS4/PS4 Pro in games which support it is absolutely jaw dropping!

I thought about getting the KS9000, but ultimately wasn't willing to pay that much for a TV. This TV Has almost all the same features for a lot less. The picture quality is great. The Smart remote will control my soundbar, Blu ray player, Apple TV, etc through HDMI without any setup. The TV is absolutely beautiful.

I waited a year to purchase this tv because I didn't like the refresh rate of last year's tv's, and the 4k alone didn't sell me. With HDR coming out this year I decided to take another look. Satellite cable looks good, but I'm just going to say that I'm waiting for 4k broadcasts. The picture is crystal clear, but 4k is what will blow me away. What really blows me away is fluidity and picture from playing games and my PC use. The picture is incredibly smooth, and the graphics on my new Xbox One is the best I've ever seen! I'd recommend you buy this tv is you're having second thoughts. Of course next year will always offer more, but I'm more than happy with buying now and not later.. Good luck!

I have never left an online review on anything until now. I really took the time to read reviews and comments by people and different websites and finally decided on this TV. I bought it for $1199 and thought it was a good buy then best buy matched a price drop the next week so I got it for the $999. Been very happy with it so far, picture is great. Looks awesome for sports and gaming. I have had this fr about 2 weeks now and have zero complaints. If you are debating on spending the extra money to get into the better category of TV do it on this one.

Hands down I love this TV. The picture quality is awesome and a very easy set up. After having a Vizo TV. I was happy to return back to Samsung. If you're looking for Quality TV here you go.

I just bought this and set it up today. And I am very impressed. Even on HD content (not 4k), movies look like live action and the detail is impressive. I use OTA TV signal (no cable) and also have an OpenElec KODI (CEC enabled) box attached, as well as an LG Blu-ray and firetv stick. I also have a Samsung soundbar. With some minor tweak and a little bit of time for the system to recognize these connections, everything is working seamlessly via the Smart Remote. My expectations on this has been exceeded. While I could have saved money on the 6 or 7 series, I have no regrets about going for the 8 series. Just a simply awesome picture and great integration.

Bought nearly 10 years ago and finally starting to get lines in the picture. Still an awesome tv!

After buying another "Higher end" 4k about six months ago and deciding it was nigh unwatchable, i decided to look for a replacement. Dark content is a big deal to me and this has the best black production ive ever seen outside paying 2x as much for oled and the bright content like HDR look amazing. I would choose this model over a Sony XBR every time. People complaining about the one connect box are wrong as it makes things easier and less cluttered. It even detects which source you are using. The interface is also very convenient.

This is the most I have ever spent on a TV. It is a lot of cool features and is crazy slim. The colors are very vibrant and you can see the difference when watching an old show and something brand new. The hardest thing to set is the black. Solid blacks can look wavey with the LED. You just have to mess with the settings to find a level you can live with. It is not perfect but it's about 92% good. Depending on the show and the lighting of that show you can still see some bleeding. It is a minor complaint as most everything looks fantastic. I wouldn't spend more money on a higher model TV to try and fix it.

This TV is a Beauty. Outstaypicture quality on Cable/Satelite boxes, Football looks so gorgeous on this TV and Basketball.Movies are outstanding as well specially the 4K UHD Blu Rays on here with HDR is must see even standard Blu Rays look 4K as well. Ps4 Pro and My Xbox one S is the best this TV can offer Gaming on here looks outstanding best TV i see so far with gaming and i done owned Sony, Vizio Tvs over the years and none of them come close to this TV. Bought it a week ago on sale for 979.99 at Best Buy. 55"

I looked at dozens of TV's and read tons of reviews online before purchasing the 55" 8000 series tv. I finally decided to pull the trigger on the purchase and I can say that I am THRILLED with the purchase. There isn't anything I don't like about this TV. The picture is UNREAL. I find myself just staring at the tv it's so clear. The smart hub is blazing fast. I've completely ditched my Apple TV because the hub is so much faster an intuitive. If you're on the fence about this tv, MAKE THE PURCHASE.

Its great for what it is. cant hold up to current TVs, but did the job at the time until i upgraded to OLED

Lasted 7 years cant complain too much. just wish it lasted longer. Maybe go LG

I picked this up last week when it went on sale. Being able to pick it up the same day was great and better than paying more thru Amazon and having to wait for delivery. Being able to return it to the store is also comforting in case it is damaged. It was not though and I am very happy with it. Also, since Best Buy meets Amazon prices and Amazn now collects tax for Alabama delveries I plan in going to Best Buy from now on.

This is an incredible TV. The image quality is literally perfect. Easy to set up, very high quality finishings throughout the product and the quality of the image is outstanding. You literally do not have to change any image settings when you get this TV. I demoed Blu-ray after Blu-ray movie when I got this TV and each one looked amazing. Pixars Cars, Avatar, Gravity, Force Awakens, Planet Earth, absolutely everything looks breathtaking. Be sure to watch all the 4K videos on YouTube also. The sound is surprisingly good too. I will be adding a 5.1 speaker system soon so it's a moot point but out of the box audio is really nice. The chrome frame of the TV really makes this TV look and feel high end. PS4 games look incredible and it's fantastic having all the smart apps like Amazon Video, YouTube and Netflix built right in. The TV is so thin! It's amazing how far technology has come. So pleased with this TV I have yet to find anything wrong with it and even though I have purchased several Samsung HDTVs over the years, this one, the 8000 model, is by far the best. Simply jaw-dropping!

Upon receipt of my KS8000 TV from the Geek Squad at the appointed hour, it was easy to install and program. Could not believe the difference between normal HD and UHD. Found 4K programming on YouTube and the colors were dramatically more real and true to life. Contrast is unbelievable! Connecting devices is easy and I love the One Connect Cable. No problem since I installed it.
