I was trying to buy a TV and I did a lot of research before purchasing this samsung ks8000 series instead of the Sony 850D... I wanted a 4K TV with HDR and low imput lag, I use this tv with my Xbox one s and I'm very pleased... I would recommend this tv to anyone

Got this as an open box item and don't regret it. No damages that i can see. Customer service think this was return because it was to big for apartment living in DC. Very great picture quality. I'm a big netflix user so this feature was nice to have. Since i do not have a sports package it was nice to download NBCSN to watch the Caps lose once again in the playoffs. Has plenty of hdmi ports for me. The only negatives I have that are very small details... Watching hockey seeing ghost shadows following the puck and fast action motions does not seem extremely smooth. Still trying to figure out how to use the hdr to its fullest. I think I needs to update hdmi cables. The sound quality is ok but have to turn it up to a very loud setting to hear quite dialogs, but that is what sound systems are for. Overall for my first big screen TV and 4K I love it and recommend to anyone.

This TV has awesome picture quality. I'm glad i decided to go with this one.

Placed this TV in my keeping with large windows facing a lake. Good picture quality and bright enough for very well lit room. Decent quality darks for an LED and the apps and smart remote are well done.

Great TV , I think for the price. Clear crisp picture and simple hook up. With the all in one adapter makes is simple. The remote works will and simple too. Great and satisfied buyer. It was between this and the SONY HDR.. Feel I got the right choice.

The blur and judder on this television was horrible out of the box. It was basically not watchable, especially with Auto Motion Plus on. I was ready to return it for another television. Over the next several days the software updated multiple times. Each update improved the viewing. At the same time, I was adjusting the factory settings for picture. Eventually the combination of the two brought me to the point that I consider the picture good to excellent. Sound on the other hand, not so much. I have to constantly adjust sound up or down depending on program and channel. I know this is a problem with most flat screen televisions, so I guess my next purchase will be a soundbar.

The Samsung tv I bought has a sharp, clear picture. It is easy to switch from regular programing to the myriad of options this 'smart' tv offers. Measuring for a stand is necessary as some stands advertised as able to handle 55" tv's weren't long enough.

Bought this TV last year and have loved it ever since. This TV is unreal.

My wife claimed to never notice much different between regarding TV and HD TV on our old set but not now. Huge Difference! Love the picture, easy to use setup. Only minor issue, volume. Recommend purchasing a sound bar as the speakers are a bit soft.

This is a awesome tv. Great for gaming and movies and at a great price.

I have always had great success with Samsung TV's and this one did not disappoint. The black is very good. We replaced a 50" Sony that was 8 years old and this TV is head and shoulders over it.

This television fits perfectly in our living room. We sit roughly 10-12' away and the image is great. However, there are a few things that bother me about it. The image will stutter at times (I.e. when Netflix has its screensaver panning across). Also, I've had to unplug numerous times due to apps "buffering/loading" or in the case of Prime Video, a movie simply goes black and won't play. I have it set for auto updates, so I know the software is current. Great image, just seems the brains are a bit scrambled...

I actually liked the picture on this TV more once I got it home. 4K content looks amazing. The apps like Netflix and Hulu work very well and are incredibly easy to get to. The remote programs itself for device connected via HDMI including my Apple TV. I would recommend this TV to others

I will start this review by letting you know it's been almost 7 years since my last TV purchase, which was a Samsung Series 7. So most of the things I'm going bonkers over now are probably features you've seen in previous purchase of your own that aren't new to you. I Love This TV...I initially wanted the OLED LG but didn't want to spend OLED LG money. However, this was still an overall great purchase and a huge step up from my 1080 I had a crush on years ago. When it was being brought out to my car, I asked the representative if he needed help loading it and he said these things can practically be held with little effort. Moving up from a 48 to a 55, I was curious...It's true! It was near effortless to load and unload in terms of weight. The set up was a breeze, the images are crisp and the color is brilliant. You'll notice I only gave it 4 stars thought...Even though the apps on this TV are "almost" better. Notice I said almost because I'm still trying to figure out who the heck picked the line-up "no-name/who's ever heard of them" applications from the distant corners of the globe. There should be apps geared towards the country of origin or at least an option you can choose during set up. Oh and no Kodi set up on this one! Lame…

Samsung stopped production of their 3D televisions, but the 2016 line of Samsung UHD televisions provide crisp images resulting in a pleasurable viewing experience. There's been a lot of complaints about black-light bleeding for this television, so I suggest potential buyers check this out in stores before pulling the trigger on the purchase. Personally, I haven't experienced any back-light bleeding, but it just might be luck of the draw...

Better contrast and hdr specs than any comparable 2016 Sony tv. Samsung tv has good contrast, good colors; 2016 Sony tvs have great colors, poor contrast. I'm happy with this tv, and I can correct the colors to a degree. It's difficult, if not impossible, to improve a tv's contrast ratio. 2017 Sony tvs are better than this tv if you have the $$$.

The picture is fantastic with no shadowing even when I watch sports

This tv was able to use move of our limited space with a great picture and allowed me several inputs. Being smart and able to attach to the internet was icing on the cake. With this tv I was able to cut the cord with my satellite provider.

I love our new Samsung. We set it up ourselves and it was really easy too. We had a 1080p LG that we were very unhappy with. We purchased it several years ago and was pretty good at first. After the warranty was up we started having problems. First is was occasional loud clicks. Then the tv started shutting itself off. We decided we would purchase a different brand this time and went to a Samsung after reading good reviews. We decided on the SUHD. Boy are we glad we did! When watching tv, it look almost like you are in the same room with the actors. Very cool!
