The Samsung ks9800 is well worth the money the picture is stunning though had to order it it came in quick and geek squad was able to deliver and install my tv sooner than originally thought which worked for me they did a fantastic job wall mounting my tv

WOW!! Loving this tv ! The clarity and viewing experience is phenomenal!!!!! I can see the pores on the actors faces and the makeup lines the cast have for screen! It feels like I am inside the movie! The best purchase I made Well with the money!!

The software was reported to be up to date on the TV, but I could not get the TV to allow me to reduce the total channel list to just my favorites. The procedure to do that is well described in the e-manual but the TV did not respond accordingly. Samsung support tried to do it via remote control and could not do it either. They thought the issue might be occurring via my Magnavox DVD player attached to the TV. That should never be the case. On another occasion, I was watching the TV and suddenly it switched to DVD player mode all on its own. I was not holding the remote and the DVD player was off. Other aspects of the user interface with the software functionality struck me as not completely natural and intuitive certainly not obvious, or as direct and simple as I felt they should be. Because these issues arose in the first few days I had the TV, I was able to exchange it for an upgrade to a different brand. I have had no such problems with the new TV, even with the same Magnavox DVD player attached to it in the same way.

love it. I bought samsung un65ks9800f 4 days ago.after returning the un65ks8000 . picture through directv hd reciever is great . blueray & gaming picture is out standing ! i wish id bought 9800 first.

At first, the picture quality is so clear, that it is a bit unnerving, even on no 4K shows due to the upconverting, but within a day or so you get used to it. Very happy with this product.

I went to the store and the associate informed me this is the best tv for the price it's being offered. I became a believer once it was installed and put up in the living room. Amazing quality. Definitely recommend it to anyone

Not only is the 4k quality of this tv excellent, but even 1080p content looks much better on this tv. Great input lag for gaming and haven't had any weird artifacts while in game mode. Definitely recommend if you can still find it. Not going to find a tv as good in the same price range.

This TV makes movie theaters look like trash. I have literally never witnessed anything so good in my entire life. It looks better than real life, I am not exaggerating!!

We are VERY happy with our purchase! We thought our Sharp Aquos was nice...but...OMG! What a difference this Samsung 9800 is! It was an expensive purchase but worth EVERY penny! High recommend!

Exceptional motion clarity. Wider viewing angles. Wide variety of inputs. Expensive but well worth the investment for the Best Picture Quality!

Samsung make another exceptional TV, I bought one 10 years ago and needed an upgrade. The price, the features and the product can't be beat. Also the best buy staff were great

Most all works like I expected of equipment of this cost and mfg. The ability to change from one input to another is poor. Recently a start up of a blue-ray movie made a change that lost me the choices and if took a long while to get back to Direct TV input on HDMi. One other big disappointment is use of wireless reception like YouTube. The download speed is higher than required according to numbers tech support said I needed, by half again faster, but when trying to see a concert, it freezes to wait for more download. ATT U-Verse router is supposed to be fast and I even upgraded to latest version of their router. So not too happy with that aspect. In general, 4K is a HOAX as there is not any on regularly available channels. Direct TV offers the service, but the only channel that is part of the 4K package that doesn't require more fees per movie shows inane shows of travel and food and just pathetic programing. Still glad I have a picture better than any other I have seen! Would not recommend at this time. Wait till cable channels are really 4K.

The TV is in our bedroom, it has one of the best pictures I have seen. Great smart TV as well, streaming videos are fab!

Having had problems with my previous purchase I am skeptical yet extremely pleased with this model. Picture clarity is very good and the colors very distinct.

The color and clarity of the picture on this tv are phenomenal! Great purchase, and the Geek Squad installed it in their usual professional manner.

In 4K this machine is phenomenally exquisite. But it even makes regular broadcast and older shows and movies look so much better. Couldn't be happier.

We decided to purchase this series because we wanted the best. We've owed Samsung TVs for over 15 years. One of our current units is over 6 years old and still has a great picture. Buying the 9800 was a easy choice. Now the 4K picture is amazing and the audio is above average but there are simply to many challenges with this unit IMO. First challenge - When viewing 4K as long as things are moving slowly it has a fantastic picture but if a character turns around fast or raises a arm quickly you start to wonder if you are in a sci-fi movie due to the jumping image. Then there is the too bright, too dim, too dark issues when viewing movies I can't quite get the picture to look the way I think it should. I understand changing color choices from movie to movie even channel to channel but not within the same movie. Second -When streaming from Netflix, Hulu, etc via wifi or wired connection there is a considerable time before the image becomes clear. It's as if there is an internal buffer than needs to spool up the content before a decent image is displayed - why? Just odd. Third - Samsung did a really nice job with the remote - nice and simple. The menu layout when accessed is really nice but the image quality of say Netflix movie ICONS is pretty bad. You might be wondering how I can ding Samsung for this that's easy. As expensive as this unit is/was Samsung should have mandated that Hulu/Netflix/Amazon/HBO2GO optimize their images to account for curve and the size of this unit. The images are all "grainy"...this distracts from enjoying the unit. And here is kicker watching HD television shows or movies the picture is barely acceptable. So now not only does 4K content provide for a poor viewing experience non 4K content is hampered? This is not an issue of the cable provider (Direct TV) as the other units in our home have good picture quality and we have the 4K content subscription. The 9800 is should have an exceptional picture and it does not. I'm going to play with this unit a few more days in hopes something changes. If not back it shall go.

This is the best TV in the market. Great resolution and great sound. I LOVE this TV

I am replacing our 55" Samsung with a 65" curved screen TV and Samsung sound bar. Both are a great improvement especially the vocal sound.
