Great TV
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the tv. It does have some weird moments with it's adaptive backlighting on ocassion, as well as some strange moments with its contrast particularly with game mode (I believe I just adjusted too much). Other than those moments it makes a beautiful picture and certainly runs fast enough to get things done. The adaptive lighting really helps bring out the sense of contrast and add visual drama in a great way. It's no OLED but I told it better than a standard led backlit screen

Do not trust the good reviews
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Please do your research before deciding to buy this TV. I ordered this tv and when I watched a movie I thougt their was glare on the TV so I shut off all the lights and blocked out all light from the windows and the top left corner and half way across the screen was lighter than the rest of the tv on darker screens. Thought it was a defective tv so best buy (who was great during this whole process) brought a new one. Did the same thing as the last one. Then I started googling it and apparently this is just a part of this tv because the contrast is so bad. I can’t believe samsung sells this tv. It should not be on the market. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Major Disappointment in this Samsung TV model
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far, VERY unsatisfied with this TV. Picture does not look natural, in spite of several attempts to adjust fine settings. Horribly contrasty and disappointing. I think I made a mistake selecting this model and brand. Whites are too bright; no dark area detail.

Bad service and product by Samsung.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not buy this television. After bringing the television back home I noticed all dark scenes in movies or shows were washed out (all dark no contrast). I called Samsung and they had a repair man show up and he could not repair it because when he called Samsung (after an hour and half hold) he did not get the approval to replace what was needed, even though the repair man acknowledged the problem. I have 3 other Samsung’s in my house and they will be the last. I brought it back to Best Buy ( who were great by the way) and bought a Sony. The Sony solved the problem.
