Fantastic picture on this Neo QLED. Contrast is best I've seen on a non-OLED and with no chance of burn-in. My viewing habits make burn-in at least a possibility, so didn't want to chance it. The picture improvement over my 5 year old model is easily noticeable,,, the various reviews I read were all accurate in the high praise. I'm a huge fan of the simple yet functional remote. I also agree with the "way too busy" menu appearance but it's a slight nuisance/eyesore and nothing more to me.. I don't sit around staring at menu's anyway. Utilizing the expert settings is a breeze... Be sure to do your research and get you settings right (for you).. Most people I know do not bother doing this and having been watching soap opera effect for years and think it's normal. The contrast and the depth of black will blow you away (unless you're used to OLED type picture already... Great set, great price at $1599.99 Also, I've never been a fan of product warranties beyond mfg.. .. That is no longer the case... Inflation/rising productions costs vs. the demand to keep prices low results in lesser workmanship across all products and all manufacturers. I'd never buy a TV over $1,000 without the warranty...

This Tv can get bright wow I am very happy. If you have your Tv in a bright room this is the TV that you want. It has enough brightness to power through any sunlight or interior lights. All at the same time producing a beautiful picture very vibrant. The black levels that this Tv can produce are almost oled like. Hdr performance is amazing. The 4 hdmi 2.1 inputs are a plus as well for gaming on my PS5 and Series x. I am even impressed with sound quality of just the tv speakers for how thin it is. 2 thumbs up definitely would recommend.

Had been researching 65" TVs for a good while and finally decided to take the plunge on this one right before the holidays. I wanted something great picture quality for HDR movies and live sports, but also wanted great sound without an external audio source, to limit connections and cables. This selection has not disappointed me at all. I have it hardwired to my ethernet and so the only cables running down the back are the power cord and ethernet cable. The heavy stand enabled us to place this beautifully thin piece of equipment on top of a small cabinet in our family room. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, the quality of the picture and sound is AMAZING as well! The set performs incredibly well in what is a very bright room with natural light coming into the room from multiple directions. That is why I chose Neo QLED over OLED. With or without glare protection, the brightness of the picture itself simply shines through no matter how bright the room is. Watching HDR movies through Netflix's highest tier streaming service has been like nothing I've experienced previously in home. Every detail is expressed vividly across most scenes. The sound quality and volume are more than adequate. With 60 watts delivered through multiple speakers pointing in every direction along with Dolby/ATMOS support, the room fills up with moving sounds that are as good as you can get without a separate sound system.
I'm not a big fan of the Tizen interface but it is adequate and enabled me to quickly set up feeds for Netflix, HBOMax, YouTube, and DirectTV Stream. I love the stylish and compact solar powered remote as well. I'll be keeping my eyes on the next generation of Roku streaming devices though, as I believe they do a better job of handling the internet connection and also have a much snappier user interface.

Everything is great about this TV. The colors are amazing, game mode helps create smooth gaming experiences and it always looks crisp.
My only negative is the Samsung software. I find it to be annoying at times when it lags or when I scroll over the last viewed app/show/input, it'll automatically starts my ps5, for example. This is annoying because it starts out with the controller on the last used app, which leads to my consoles turning on and swapping over to them, then turning them off and trying to get to a different app quickly. Its not that bad of an issue, but can be annoying since I havent found a setting to disable this.
Its worth noting that I bought this on a great open box deal, so I found it to be a better bang for my buck.
If theres a sale and you're looking to upgrade, then this is a fantastic choice.

We purchased this wonderful 65” tv to replace our broken outdated tv. We are blown away by the picture quality. The 4K movies on it are awesome. Connection with the app is pretty sweet. Can use phone as a keyboard instead of using the remote to type. It was extremely easy to setup. The remote is pretty cool as you’ll never have to replace batteries. There is a solar power charger on the back as well as usbC charge port. Place your remote with solar panel up and remote will always be charged. The sound quality is descent for tv shows, but we mainly use our stereo receiver when watching movies for best audio. Picture quality is outstanding. Was surprised when our two year old ran off with the remote and the remote still worked on other side of the house through four walls. I’m used to remotes that need to be pointed at the device to work.

WOW.... I mean holy lady gaga of Nazereth this tv looks amazing. I was a little hesitant to pull the trigger due to some of the negative reviews going on about how the updates that have been pushed though siginificanly lowered brightness, and some other nonesense. I can tell you right now that his 65 inch Open Box QN90B has the brightest screen I have ever whitnessed on a tv before. I would literally have to squint my eyes due to how bright movies scenes were potrayed even in filmaker mode. Coming from a Samsung q80t I honestly did not expect that huge of a difference not just brightness, but also contrast, and clarity. Blacks are deep, shadow detail is amazing, and honestly, regardless of what you are going to watch, the picture quality will blow you away right out of the box!

Brand response from Samsung

Hi Notworthit,
We appreciate your feedback on the lip sync issues you’re experiencing with your QN90B TV. This could possibly be a source issue, but if you’re hearing an audio delay across all sources/channels and you have a receiver, soundbar, or other speakers connected to your TV, you can access the Audio Delay settings to increase the audio delay. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Delay
Our 2022 TVs have an audio Pass-Through feature, which allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external device then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay.
On your TV, go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through
Please also be sure you’re running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
If you’ve tried these steps and your issue persists, please contact us for troubleshooting and a Support agent will gladly assist. Call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Or visit us on the Samsung website and click on the ‘Support’ link for: • LiveChat with an agent • Manuals, Software, & Warranty Info

Holy (quack), this TV is bright! Picture quality is excellent and the video game streaming is a huge plus. This is the best non-OLED in my opinion. The only downside I think is Samsungs OS and App Store.

Excellent TV with great pictures and sounds. Very bright. I connect my wireless headphones to it seamlessly. Works perfectly well with my AV receiver too - putting out great Dolby Atmos sounds.
Wish I could disable the designated buttons for Netflix, Prime, and Disney on the remote control. I don't use them and they're easily accessible - pretty inconvenient. I use Nvidia shield all the time for best quality sounds and pictures out there at the moment.
My next TV will be OLED display though. Hopefully they iron all the bugs an get the tech right by then.

Our new Samsung Television far exceeds our expectations for a large 62 inch Tv. The picture is outstanding. The clarity is amazing. The darks are black and the the colors seem beyond real. I would buy this TV again in an instant. Well don Samsung and BEST BUY for having an amazing home visit crew to set up the tv. They were so professional and they explained everything we needed to know about using the TV remote ( A ROKU remote). Well done all the way around.

The Samsung QN90B replaced an LG OLED C8 that suffered burn-in after 16,000 hours of use, primarily on cable news channels. While it doesn't quite match the depth, pop, contrast and viewing angle of the OLED panel, it is very close and is much brighter and nearly invulnerable to burn-in. The QN90B is a better choice for brighter rooms, though the latest LG OLED models are best for dimly lit rooms, if used for general broadcast, Blu-ray and streaming content.

This was the third TV in my home in three weeks. The first two were LG C2 OLEDs returned due to reddish tint to the left sides of the respective panels, painfully obvious in light scenes. I decided to go with what I know and exchanged the LG(s) for a Samsung QLED. I have purchased Samsung TVs in various formats (LCD,LED,QLED) over many years and have been well pleased. The technology today is amazing and I find that the QLED produces a very nice picture when good settings are used. Many tout OLED panels for deep black colors, and this Samsung produces a very similar effect due to the mini-LED backlight. Properly adjusted settings will provide a stellar picture on this TV. There are two minor complaints that may not bother others. First is the TV industry, and not just Samsung, forcing the idiot Smart Hub features upon consumers. Navigating these "Hubs" can be a challenge and require many remote button presses to get somewhere - even if all you want is the settings menu. Which leads to complaint #2 - the supplied remote is horrible. Tiny and un-intuitive, not backlit, with no direct buttons for settings or sources/inputs. It essentially connects to the Smart Hub and then you navigate from there. The ten year old Samsung remote I use for the old bedroom TV worked fine with this QLED and has direct buttons and is backlit, so I bought a third party universal remote with direct buttons and that improved the satisfaction factor immensely. Anyone who has such a remote and uses a device like a ROKU can bypass the So-called Smart Hub entirely. Now that makes this TV and its excellent picture quite a worthy choice.

Our living room has windows on three walls. We had purchased an LG the color was gorgeous but the screen reflection made it unusable. This Samsung also has a great picture. The reflections from the windows are much less noticeable. One clear advantage is that you can have two Samsung remotes linked to the same set. The LG would not link both remotes. The remote also works with our Roko negating needing another remote.

I needed a bright tv for my son and wife who moved to las vegas and had floor to ceiling windows in their new condo. This tv handles bright sunlight with ease. Picture and color is great and works well for them. The built in samsung home software is responsive - nice. They moved their apple tv set to the guest bedroom. Good purchase.
