  • Beware Blank Screen after 6 Months

    The television was working great until it randomly went blank screen 6 months into the purchase, with no reason. it still ran in the background. The warranty process has been frustrating and I will be without a TV for 2 weeks. I have had multiple phone calls and need 2 service visits since they did not have all the parts to fix the problem the first time, even though I verified that they would. Basically the whole guts of the TV needed to be replaced, not just the main board. I still wonder if this will be an issue after the warranty ends because no support will be given. Best buy wipes their hands of the product after it is sold and Samsung has been frustrating with limited support. I also had to demount the TV myself since everyone refuses to help with that process without a high fee.

    I wasn't sure about purchasing this Samsung 65" OLED Television. I have always purchased Samsung products, and have always been completely satisfied. So I went to Best Buy and discussed my purchase with a sales person Josh who provided me with information that I needed to make my final decision,and purchased the aforementioned Television.

    For most people this will be in the sweet spot of price/performance. The average viewer isnt going to get thousands more of value out of the flagships and this tv is definitely much better than the average.
