Although it comes with connections for the "moisture mist drying" feature, the hose that comes with it (for connection to your water line) is not long enough to reach... so we chose to install it without connecting the hose (or using the added feature).

Some of the special features; Senses the moisture of the items inside, Y on the cold water to add steam in some cycles, light inside, and last but not least, the lint trap opens up to allow easy removal of the trapped lint. All in all, we are very happy with both the washer and dryer!

Unfortunately, it took at least 2 cycles (at an hour and 15 each!) to get the clothes MOSTLY dry. A comforter took 4 cycles to get it “dry enough”:(. I called Samsung and after investigating, the default Eco-Dry “feature” was on. When selected, it takes 1 hour and 15 min for a normal cycle vs 42 min when it’s not selected. It’s supposed to use less heat/energy but doesn’t dry a normal to small size load of clothes. This “feature” is on by default, cannot be programmed to off, and must be manually turned off each time you use the dryer if you want your clothes dry. Very disapppointed in this purchase. Washer is great but dryer isn’t up to par.

Also, this model was Energy Star approved. I have used only five times but am pleased with it. I'm still learning all the features.

I love the dry sense technology that makes sure things are dry before it ends the cycle. The only issue I have had so far is the lint comes out of the trap onto the door sometimes but that isn't a huge problem.
