Samsung will not assist, and paying for a repair costs more than the tv did. Very dissapointed in the lack of durability in the product and manufacturer response

I am sorry to hear that you are seeing screen abnormalities on your new TU8000 TV. Please run a Picture Test to determine if the problem is caused by the TV. Picture Test displays a high-definition picture you can examine for flaws or faults. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test
If this occurs on all sources and the picture test, this will require service. So that we can better troubleshoot this issue and provide steps towards a solution or initiate service, please contact Samsung TV Support.

It looks great, a lot lighter than I thought. Easy to hang or just place on furniture. Easy to handle remote and best of all I can watch what’s on my iPhone on the TV because of built in Apple TV. I highly recommend it!

I have a wireless keyboard that I use to surf the net using the Tv's browser and it is super fast. I use it as a monitor for my Mac and they interact seamlessly. The Tv comes with other channels some are found on Pluto Tv but it brings in other FREE channels quickly and cleanly, as well as my local channels, the Tv found and auto loaded all local channels as soon as I turned it on, the local channels were set and ready to go. All in all it’s a great tv and works with other electronics with great ease. I could have saved another $100 if I could have waited for the 4th of July sale.

The functionality of the television is easy to control, from basically watching it to navigating the apps.

Great picture and Samsung tv is tv over the internet which is a great feature. They even have a TV guide. Also, there are apps on the tv but you can also download more. Definitely a great buy. I got 2 :)

The staff at the Burleson store that help me was the best and friendly that made me want to purchase the TV from them. Samsung has this quality down pack. WATCHING movies at home is like you're in the theater.

I wasn't sure we really needed anything bigger or fancier - but we were remodeling our family room and the price was good, so I thought we'd go ahead and buy it with the possibility that we'd never take it out of the box. Then I saw one on display and thought, "Well, maybe we should go ahead and put it up and see if we like it." I mounted it on the wall, turned it on, set it up, and any thoughts of returning it vanished from my brain. All of the functionality that had previously required Apple TV and an Amazon FireStick were now integrated right into the TV itself. The larger size makes for a more comfortable viewing experience, even across the room. (I was surprised at how much difference a few inches makes!) But the biggest, most incredible difference is the picture quality. It has fundamentally changed the way programs feel. The picture is so sharp that it has an almost three-dimensional quality to it, as if you are actually standing there with the actors or athletes you are watching. Probably one of the best tech purchases I've ever made. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat!
