Excellent product. Reasonable price, good performance.

Love this new SSD drive. Installation was easy using Samsungs free data migration software. I replaced my C: drive and I didn't have to mess with windows 10 licensing or anything like that. It cloned my old drive. I did pull the cables from the old one once cloned and moved the new ssd to be first in line on the cables in the computer before powering on. It booted up fine and made a night and day difference in speed.

This drive made the computer boot time faster, the old drive was failing and needed to be replaced. The selection of a solid state drive was the best choice. Samsung makes a utility that makes that transition a breeze

Really cant beat a $34.99 512GB SSD from Samsung. When it comes to storage I will only use Samsung or Western Digital. I put this SSD in an 8 year old laptop for a friend to be able to do some light schoolwork online and she says it runs quicker than new. Great buy!

Great gadget! Just replaced the HDD in my 5 year old laptop with this SSD. Boot time went from 3 1/2 minutes to 8 seconds (your mileage may vary) and everything is perkier overall. Samsung's Data Migration and Magician are easy to use and best of all, free with the purchase. Hardest part of of this upgrade is getting the laptop case open.

Grabbed it on sale for a great price, good ssd for thw money and one of the best known brands for ssd storage. Quick boot times and plenty of space for the average user. Replaced a failing ssd and works as intended.

Great SSD solid state hard drive. I am switching out all my hard drives to Samsung SSD. They are easy to install and have a data migration tool online you can install and it knows to copy from the old drive to the new SSD. This can be worrisome for knowing your cloning your drive in the right direction. No one wants to clone the blank drive to overwrite your data.

Sure you’re going to pay a little more for Samsung, but when it comes to SSD drives, just do it. The software provided make cloning easy and simple. If you want to speed up your old mechanical hard drive by 5 to 10 times, then switch to SSD. You will keep your computer for another 3-5 years AND you won’t have to reinstall your apps and programs from scratch!

Ive had one of the older versions of this ssd for several years now. Since then theyve come down in price significantly. Theyre the fastest sata SSDs I’ve used and I highly recommend this for people upgrading their older PCs.
