Samsung drive have a high reliability compared to others. I have experienced that for myself over the years owning samsung drives compared to others. I am giving this 5 star as well since it didn't give me any issues installing or working. Best buy reps were also subarb from both stores.

Drive has been working great and not producing high temps. Newer drive does not seem to be suffering from the 990 Pro driver issues reporting last year. So far a big step up from the 990 Evo and previously reported issues. Works great with Windows 11 BitLocker.
Notes:
----------
- Purchased for $249
- Using in a Dell XPS 9530
- Drive does not always show on the BB website when searching for 4TB NVME SSDs; had to specifically search for the drive name / model
- Install the Samsung Magician software and make sure drivers are updated; use software to monitor performance

An excellent deal and much more space than I needed. If I had a newer laptop, I'd get PCIe 4 speeds which are twice as fast than gen 3. In other words, I'm keeping this hard drive when I upgrade in the future.

Fast, and with the flexibility of using 2 gen 5 or 4 gen 4 PCIe lanes it will easily find a full-speed spot in your machine on the CPU or the disk controller. From a reliable brand WITHOUT a record of cheaping out on their chips because they make all of the components on board. Vertical integration, baby.

I was able to get this thing on sale which made it an easy buy, especially since these have been hard to find in stock, so i was happy to be able to score it. I added this to my AMD gaming machine which had a nearly full 2TB drive. The install was easy of course, like other NMVe drives. Make sure you buy a heat sink, otherwise these will likely run a little too hot. Before using this new ssd i did a full read test which passed perfectly and very fast. I havent seen the 7,200+ speeds yet but upper 6s. Overall, a great drive with a great warranty, well known to last.

I managed to grab this 4TB NVMe at a discounted price. I've been specifically looking for a Gen 5x2 NVMe because my motherboard has an M.2 slot that shares PCIe 5 lanes with USB 4. Going with a 5x2 drive would be a cost-effective choice—though this was just my own assumption. The NVMe performs well overall, though random read/write speeds might be slightly slower due to it being DRAM-less. However, this doesn't have a significant impact on everyday use. Overall, it's a solid choice for the price.

Great SSD. Blazing fast read and write speeds. Easy installation. I wish that they sold it with a m.2 screw just in case your mobo doesnt have the clips.

I recently went through some upgrades and knew it was time to grab a nice boost in storage. Definitely nice having 4TB considering how large many games are these days.

I have yet to say anthing bad about Samsung drives. I benchmarked performance between 990 PRO and this 990 EVO Plus. Between the two, I honestly can't see a noticeable difference. Yeah numbers wise there's a slight difference but from actually using the drives nothing is different. I suggest people save their money and go for this drive. It's sold, no out of box issues like the 990 PRO.

I got this because storage was getting expensive following what happened to RAM and this hadn't yet skyrocketed or run out of stock when I grabbed it. It's a good SSD. Fast enough. Plenty of storage. No fuss. Decent warranty. Had prior 990 EVO PLUS in other sizes and no issues yet.

Got it on a good deal. $250 for 4tb is a steal! Have plenty of room left after downloading from all my libraries on my pc. Will definitely buy another one soon.
