I really want to be to give this SSD a higher rating, but the performance issues are really frustrating. As far as the good, having this as my OS drive makes the boot time very fast. I do some light design work from time to time and when a concept pops into mind, it's great to just start laying things out. I also appreciate the included heat sink and LED, especially since the LED doubles as a drive activity light. However, that leads me to the bad. Running my OS off this drive, I get crashes with no warning whatsoever. That's particularly frustrating if I'm gaming or have unsaved work. The next complication is that the drive won't re-initialize after a simple press of the restart button on my tower. I need to press and hold the power button to be able to start the machine from "cold iron". Then and only then will it boot back into Windows. Now I will note, I titled this review as undiagnosed stability issues for a reason. I don't have a separate machine to test drive reliability on, and I don't have an extra SSD and Windows license to test for possible motherboard issues. I've built numerous PCs over the years though, and when SSDs start acting up, the behaviors can often be patterned. I don't need to pull it out and start over, but I'm not convinced continued use will improve matters.

The heatsink solves the primary issue with the drive, letting it run to its full potential without risk of overheating damage. The heatsink is rather large however, and was my reason for return. Check the dimensions and verify if you have the space required for the install.

Bought this to add the much needed memory on the PS5 console, and I might need to upgrade again. But overall, it looks very nice and gives a nice boost in memory if you dont download many games.

The product functioned flawlessly as anticipated and arrived at its intended destination on time.

Solid product, wish it came with the motherboard screw. Otherwise easy installation. I was able to clone my primary disk to this drive and was able to boot from it with no difference. It is much faster than the spinning disks.

Top notch ssd drive. Needed more memory for my kids to download games and did my research. Once installed (very easy to do so after watching a YouTube Video ) I noticed my ps 5 is a lot faster with downloading and uploading games

It was nice having the extra space but some games I’ve noticed theres a stutter while using it to play your game but overall happy.

So simple to install and the formatting was just as easy with PS5. It is an absolute must buy if you are a serious gamer or for any other games your doing on the system. Highly recommend, games load and download in seconds.
