Avoid if you want reliability

My guess is it got too hot as it was extremely warm when it stopped responding. Samsung needs better temps before I would recommend them.

Great drive...for 3 months

Then I put the system into rest mode and it crashed. Drive was then no longer detected. Trying plugging it into my PC to test it and verified it didn't show up in the bios there either.

Worth the money for PS5 Gamers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wife bought this for me (with my suggestion) for my birthday to increase my PS5 hard drive space. This thing has increased my hard drive space astronomically. 4T of space is so massive compared to the barely 500G you get with the PS5. Installation is so easy for PS5. Hardest thing is trying to slide the covers off. Once you do that it is literally two screws. The whole thing, even with not knowing how to take off my PS5 covers, took 4 minutes. I am happy so far, just hope it stays intact in the long run.

I've had neither issue nor worry with the operation of my Ally X after installing this. My only concern was with the application, that is not yet available for linux, that allows one to adjust the colored lighting of the stick. I personally chose a nice, cool, greenish-blue.

I’ve done a good number of tests, it’s been within a second for all of them, bit slower at times, but faster at others. Considering this thing was supposed to be super fast I’m not impressed. I guess it works but barely.

Benchmark test results may differ depending upon the system environment, host software and hardware configuration. I encourage you to call Samsung Customer Support to better diagnose and assist you with your speed issue.
