Great SSD for a PS5. Read rate was more than 6600 mb/s. I have been using Samsung SSDs in my computers for several years without any issues. That is what lead me to Samsung when I was looking for an SSD for the PS5.

Super fast. Beats my old M.2 by 4x. I installed it into my PS5 Pro and it works like a charm.

Like the title said it works. 4 TB for the PS5 will get you 4tb because there is no system requirements like the main ssd does. If you're planning to invest into gaming or have a huge gaming collection, this 4TB drive will help out with clutter with external HDD/SSDs.

I have a couple of these in various devices and they are rock solid. Hoping they release a reasonably priced 8tb soon

Got this for my ROG ALLY X. I saw a few people install this one as it has a heatsink included. So far it’s been working great. Love the extra storage I have as I have been playing many games across multiple platforms.

The samsung 990 pro with heatsink is the best ssd money can buy. Not only are the loading screens fast, the register time is almost instant on games like call of duty, dayz and much more. Try this out and you wont be disappointed with your purchase. Garenteed from one gamer to another.

I was having issues with space due to modern games being like 30gb~80gbs. The 4tb on this thing is a godsend, I recommend u get this one over the 2tb, go big or go home, your future self will thank you for it.

No issues, install was easy and more space for my games

So far it’s been great. Sounded like an easy install but went ahead and had the Geek Squad install it for $40 just to ensure it was done correctly. Transfer of files was very fast and easy. I would definitely recommend this product.
