Great product missing screw

Stop being so cheap. For several hundred dollars, 10 cents is nothing. My camera lens came with a bag, lens hood and covers. Do better!

Fake device received

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered this from bestbuy and it turned out to be defective and fake. The label on the ssd is very blurr and the samsung magician (official software) cannot verify this device. I tried to return/exchange this in the store and the manager is very rude and refuse to provide and survice.

Buy With Caution!

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Be careful purchasing this, they sent me an old ssd card, 128 gbs when i ordered 4tb and when i went to return nothing they could do because it wasn’t the same product! Open the package on video and make sure you have the correct item! If you have it on video you opening maybe you can get better luck than me if they send you wrong items

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this new, I had to cut the box open, but after installing the system I was shocked to find it was registering as a 980 Pro 2 TB... I thought maybe it was a firmware/BIOS issue or something like that but no. Samsung Magician states that it is on the latest firmware and is "Genuine". Going over to Best Buy and see what they can do. Of course now the stores don't have any available and they are no available online either... Fun!

Installation was seamless, and the Samsung Magician software makes optimizing and monitoring the drive incredibly easy. It is not a cheap laptop and I wanted what is supposed to be the best gen 4 nvme ssd on the market so I purchased this in the 1tb version as I really do not need anymore than that. I also purchased the SK Hynix platinum P41 to check both of them out. !st of all the price difference was about $35 more for the 990 pro and that was on sale. I tested both with Crystaldiskmark. I didn't get into extensive testing on either of them but I used both for several days and I can honestly say the SK Hynix either outperformed the 990 pro or at least matched it in every category often doing a little better in write times. Even in high performance mode for the 990 pro it never reached its advertised speeds in read or write times and the SK P41 was matching the speeds of the 990 pro everytime. So bottom line is, im keeping the SK Hynix as my main ssd and will be returning the 990 pro and get my money back. Even if I was getting 150-200mb's more than I did, its not worth the cost difference. Another thing is the SK Hynix P41 has twice the life span as the 990 pro in reported testing.
