I was in the market for a new laptop and could not decide on a 2 in 1 or a traditional laptop. I settled on this model, and decided the traditional laptop was more for me due to the expandable memory options and selection of ports. This is a great go to PC for all your personal and work needs. It starts up instantly, its fast, and light...really light. It has a Premium feel and the screen is fantastic. It comes with a proprietary charger... but... It also supports USB C charging via the thunderbolt port! so you can use your cell phone charger when traveling, and I also tested a portable battery pack I have which can also charge this on the go! I love the fact that this laptop has all the ports I need, USB A 2x and an HDMI port, an SD slot, and the USBC Thunderbolt port and a wonderful 15:6 QLED screen; The finger print scanner works great as well allowing me to log in in a flash. So far it is lightning fast for web browsing and light gaming too such as Sims.... not sure about heavy gaming but basic games, its fine. So far this is the best laptop I have ever owned. If you are ok with a non touch screen traditional style laptop that feels like a fresh new modern one then this is for you! also the memory is expandable unlike most of the 2 in 1s! Also because its a Samsung it supports some great Samsung Features. Only 1 complaint.... The sound, the sound is subpar for such a premium laptop, Its sufficient, its ok... but not that great. I don't understand how my Budget Tab A sounds better, oh it also has a headphone jack! and is of course Bluetooth so a portable Bluetooth speaker can bypass the crummy built in sound. but other than the sound; this is a Fantastic Laptop and highly recommended!! This is perhaps the most perfect traditional style laptop and the price is not too crazy if you compare to similar specs. I love everything about it so far that even with the not so great but acceptable sound I still give it 5 stars but really mean 4.5 stars.

Samsung hit it out of the park with this laptop, it's super thin and lightweight without feeling cheap, the screen is beautiful, trackpad is big and great to use and the keyboard is spot on. I upgraded the ran with another 8gb stick so I now have 16 gb of ram total. Super fast and everything I've thrown at it it has performed great. My only complaint with this laptop is the speakers could definitely be better. I have everything Samsung and my tab s6 and s20 ultra are both louder than playing something from the laptop. Seeing as I'd be using mostly my Bluetooth headphones or external speaker if I needed something really loud it isn't a deal breaker, but definitely something I wish they did better on. Everything else is perfect in my opinion.

Pretty good for school. I will not use all the feature. 1080 screen is good enough because there are not much 4k out there or on YouTube that I would like to watch. Also, good for having an empty slot for more ram in case I want to add more to it. The laptop itself is very light. The material is not metal like apple products. But I'm satisfy with the purchase.

This laptop is lightweight, very thin and super fast. The 15 inch screen is beautiful as is the backlit keyboard. The fingerprint login option is quite convenient.I’m very pleased with this computer and would recommend it to any of my friends.

I just stacked 20 images in Photoshop that I thought would take an hour. It took 3 minutes. Not quite as fast as my desktop machine but surprisingly quick for such a lightweight laptop. Now I will tell you straight out of the box I installed 32gb of extra RAM...makes a huge difference for imaging software like Photoshop AND Samsung makes it super easy to install another RAM chip. The screen plays well above its paygrade too. Sharp, great colors, and contrasty. You'd never know it isn't a retina display unless you'd already looked at the specs. Having USB-C and USB ports is icing on the cake. Samsung has so impressed me I'm looking at one of their dishwashers for the wife!

I scored this laptop at the Best Buy Outlet for about $500. It was supposed to be for my wife. She then realized she couldn't work with it well due to the new narrow design of the numeric keypad. So Mine now. Nice and fast especially log on with fingerprint. Easy access to open the back and upgrade the RAM.

I wanted to replace my aging desktop with a laptop. I did a lot of research to find a lightweight, easy to set up and operate, and versatile replacement for the desktop. Previous laptops (for work and for personal use) were heavy and "clunky." Not this one! I am a big fan of Samsung; I have a Samsung smartphone and also a tablet. This Galaxy Book laptop has not disappointed! Pretty much I just took it out of the box, followed the prompts, and my laptop was up and running a short time later. The picture quality is fantastic. So far, this is one of the best electronic purchases I have ever made!

Excellent laptop. Light weight, fast and great display for excellent picture. I have had several Samsung' laptop's and all have been really good. I Would buy this product again. Really like the finger reader.

This computer is super fast. The picture is so clear and beautiful. This computer is good for multitasking watching movies Pretty much anything you might need to do.

Bought this for work, and it’s super fast, great display. 2 things that made me return it was the build quality (feels like plastic and has a cracking sound when I rest my palms. I understand it’s magnesium but feels very cheap. Also the speakers are no good at all.

Fast and easy to use, plus it's a gorgeous color. Its is unfortunately not touch screen, but I do enjoy the charging pad that is incorporated. Overall it's a great computer for my needs.

Bought it on Black Friday, found a better deal on Walmart/Amazon/BH photo on cyber monday. Returned the best buy one since they don't price match holidays. Laptop works great, vivid colors battery life is decent not the full day, but then again I use mid level battery settings not the always off barely on battery saver mode. Installed extra 8gb ram into slot for 16gb. HDMI port really useful.
