We bought this computer over the surface pro 9 for college. It was as good as the surface pro 9 at a much lesser price. For us it was a better bang for the dollar.

Very nice notebook.
However, there was a problem with the touchpad, applying double clicks. I bought a normal mouse and I'm using the notebook without problems.

Purchased for my daughter who started college last month.
Perfect size and very high quality. The only quirky thing was Windows 11. But, that is to be expected with a new OS version. It took a little to get used to, but everything has functioned as its supposed to.
I also purchased as an Open Box at a discount. This laptop was in perfect condition and had all components. VERY satisfied and will defiantly consider open box items moving forward.

Starting to take Samsung Laptops seriously

This is my second Samsung laptop. My previous laptop is a Samsung Notebook 9 Pro purchased 5 years ago (i7, 8G RAM, 256 SSD, 13" touch w/ stylus and infrared webcam) and has been my go to "personal use" laptop. The main reason I opted for the Galaxy Book2 was because of how happy I have been with the Notebook 9. Having worked in IT, I never took Samsung laptops seriously because, quite frankly, they are "in the making TVs business." My Notebook 9 outlasted my son's similarly equipped Spectre 360 that failed (power, ports, and motherboard--all at different times) after less than 2 years. Because of the age of my Notebook 9, I am not convinced it will ever be upgradeable to Windows 11. Consequently, I decided to replace the Samsung Notebook 9 Pro with the Samsung Galaxy Book2, thus doubling my memory (16GB onboard--no expansion slots) and storage (512GB) with the added benefit of Windows 11.
First let me say that this laptop is "very comfortable." It is thin, lightweight, pivots on its hinge well, has a responsive touch screen, a large touch pad, and while the standard model does NOT include an infrared webcam for Windows Hello authentication, the power button doubles as a fingerprint reader which has been 80% accurate of first try to authenticate. Unlike my Notebook 9, this model does NOT include a stylus which is something I liked having previously but seldom used. Note that the Galaxy Book 2 360 PRO model INCLUDES a stylus ("S Pen") if drawing on your screen is of importance to you. The S Pen is supported by the Galaxy Book2 but must be purchased separately and cannot be stored on-board (i.e. no slot to slip the pen into when not in use).
Battery ratings as in line with real world experiences for me. Several days of standby power and plenty of "all day" power. The AMOLED screen is nice and bright, with clear graphics. The backlit keyboard (customizable) is a must for me as are quick access function ("Fn") buttons to control screen brightness and volume, among other settings. The power supply option is a nice upgrade from the Notebook line as the power adapter is now USB-C rather than a proprietary connector.
The i7 processor is more than enough CPU power to drive the average needs of a personal laptop. With 16GB RAM, the machine is fine unless you plan on taxing it with memory and graphics heavy applications such as (Adobe) image or video editing or console/PC games (as opposed to "mobile" games). If your intention is to game or video edit, you should be looking at a laptop that offers a dedicated graphics card (GPU). Because I store the bulk of my personal data (files, photos, music) in the cloud, my storage needs are minimal, however, there is PLENTY of storage to "offline" a couple movies or streaming TV shows for those times when you need it.
"Ultrathin" laptops have always skimped on ports and this laptop is no exception, however, critical ports exist including 1 Thunderbolt port (65W power, display, USB4/USB-C), 1 USB-C port, 1 HDMI, 1 USB-A, 1 aux, and a MicroSD card slot. Anyone with more than 1 USB-A device to connect will need to look at a port replicator or an add-on USB expansion or change the peripherals to work with USB-C or bluetooth (supports v5.1).
The laptop itself feels very solid and weighs in at 2.5 lbs. It does feel a bit heavy but it is a "sturdy" heavy. Does not feel like cheap plastic. The webcam is basic (720p HD) and is not low light friendly but does manage backlight better than my previous laptops. Audio is clear but basic (i.e. no bass) and probably slightly better than what you would expect from laptop speakers (Dolby Atmos support)/microphones (dual array). The 13.3" diagonal screen puts the overall dimensions at roughly 12"W x 8"D x .5"H. The laptop ships with the 65W power charger and the USB-C cable and supports TPM.
Overall this is a VERY GOOD personal laptop for average but heavy user, however, it is important to note that this is NOT A GAMING COMPUTER and possibly not the right fit for an intense business environment--consider the PRO line from Samsung if you want "business ready." The home user should get a solid 5 years or more out of this laptop if my Samsung Notebook 9 experience is any indication of Samsung's quality.

Got the best possible deal for Black Friday sale with all the specs I needed. Only complaint would be that battery life could have been better- getting 5-6hrs on a charge.
