You can not possibly go wrong with the Galaxy S4, whether it's for fun, business, casual or Music this device is Top notch. Not to mention the insane features this amazing machine has. It also pairs with my home theater/BluRay player, and my TV, also acts as a universal remote for all my devices. Yes I'm in love.

I got this phone for free around Thanksgiving and have had zero problems so far. Takes great pictures and videos, battery life is good, the phone is quick and really easy to use. My only complaint would be it is hard to use one handed but thats ok with me since I prefer the larger screen.

I made the change to the S4 from the 4S and have not regretted it for one instant. Love the size and gorgeous colors of the screen. Love notifications . SOO much better than iPhone Fantastic camera and options Play Store can be flaky but there isn't an app I have yet to find. Love the SD storage and mine has been flawless. Can't say enough about widgets, love them. Battery life is exceptional compared to my 4S. Phone call quality is far superior to iPhone. I worked through problems with finding the right music app, but love there are so many options to choose from. I finally got my car Bluetooth working for both phone and music. And perhaps one of the best reasons, for me: I had constant disconnects on the AT&T Microcell on all my versions of iPhones. Since I got the S4, it has not dropped one single second. Constant 5 bars.

I switched from iPhone and I love this phone! There are some things I miss about my iPhone, mainly apps I had that aren't yet available for android. I've been back and forth with iPhone 4, then Galaxy S2, then iPhone 5 and now back to the S4. I love the screen on the S4! It's beautiful and so great for watching sports and videos. It's hard to see in the sunlight, even on full brightness. It's frustrating because most of the time I try to keep it low, so when if I don't adjust it before I got out into the sunlight then I'm stuck because I can't even see on the screen to make it brighter. The camera is lovely for most pictures. I have 2 small black dogs and I definitely do not get pictures of as good quality as I did on my iPhone 5. I haven't really tried any of the other features. I haven't been able to get the eye scrolling or anything to work, but I haven't really tried. The ability to waive my hand over to see a preview of what's happening is awesome! Also the hovering to see a preview of pictures in albums and text messages, etc. I love widgets! They’re great to preview sports scores, weather, calendar, facebook, etc. The battery life is actually really good! One of the main reasons I switched back to iPhone after having a S2 is because of battery life. I can get all day use out of my S4 and still not be in battery panic territory (hmm, I’d probably call this 30%). I used it as a GPS and other researching while on vacation in San Francisco and was able to use it constantly from about 8 in the morning until 3 or 4. It never died, but I definitely needed to charge it at that point. The back button is the greatest! I missed this the most when I had an iPhone. I love the larger screen and the quality of the screen is beautiful! Battery life is awesome and, even though I am petite, the size is not too big. It fits into my pocket, purse, etc. I can use it one handed just as much as I could my iPhone. Mostly because of the back button which is along the bottom of the phone instead of the back or done button on iPhone which seems to be in the upper left hand corner. Overall I love this phone! I am very glad I switched.

This phone takes great pictures the screen is brilliant. The 1.9 quad core processor is blazing fast. It's light thin fits great in my pocket. Predictive text is awesome, voice to text is right on accurate. The fact that it handles a 64gb sd card is really nice. I have about 400 full length albums on this and I only have the 32 gb card right now. I would recommend this phone to everyone.

    Best phone on the market!

Went with the best android phone and it payed off. So many features, super high specs, will be the first phone to get updates, easy to get accessories, large and brilliant display, and plenty of space for your 1,000 apps. The 13MP camera is one of the best on the market but without a better image stabilizer of the G2 or the higher resolution of the Lumia 1020 it isn't necessarily "the best". Battery is much better than any other phone I've had and after heavy use for 2 months now I can go 18 hours playing games, listening to music, and texting without having to worry about the charger and my battery manager says that at 99% it can go 3 days with slight use. The black is sleek and stylish with a patterned but not textured backing. The physical button on the front takes some getting used to if you're coming from an older android device with a touch home button. All and all a terrific phone and I would recommend it to even the stingiest of Iphone users.

    From Infuse to S4

I had a Samsung Infuse for two years. I loved it until my camera recently stopped working. I almost got the S3 until I learned that that the S4 had a 13 mp camera with a 2 mp front facing camera. The clarity is awesome. It has many different modes to select from such as the advertised crop a photobomber out of your picture.(It's a mode. You can't edit it in a normal mode) You can record from both camera and also snap pictures while recording from both cameras. The scroll with your eyes feature isn't quite bug free. I like the tilt to scroll feature personally. The biggest complaint I have is the voice to text. My Infuse was flawless in regards to this feature and I expected nothing less in any newer Samsung phone. However, I am very displeased with the lag time and lack of accurate translation of this phone.

I converted to Android after 5 years of iPhones, with the break-up initiated by iOS 7 (ecch). I like this phone, except that it is a little big to hold comfortably. But it also has a nice big screen. I love the better interaction with Google calendar and the greater flexibility and openness of Android -- like being able to see most of the user files on the phone from a PC. The battery life is definitely better than any iPhone. The battery and SIM card are easily replaced by the consumer, and you can easily add up to 64GB of memory in you own microSD card, which I did. Cons: it is easy to mistakenly turn the ringer volume down. When it reaches full charge in the middle of the night, the screen turns on, which is a little annoying. I think the audio jack sounds a little worse than my old iPhone 4s. But basically I like it, although the minor differences from Apple take getting used to.

I love this phone I just hate that even when I'm not using it the battery dies. Even if it's fully charged over night with no use the phone goes almost half dead. But the camera is great the phone is light and easy to use! You can put a memory card in it for more memory and its just a great phone.

Thought I'd never leave my iPhone but so far very happy with my decision to go to the Galaxy S4. Much easier to set-up and navigate and not locked into Apple-specific products, apps, etc. While larger then the iPhone, it is much lighter, easier to read and use. The only down side is the battery life. I find I have to charge it more frequently however I find myself using it more. However, you really need to pay attention to the running apps through the application manager and make sure what apps are running and what apps you actually need running. I found this very beneficial in extending the battery life. Overall, I am "VERY" happy with the Samsung.

Upgraded to this phone as soon as I was eligible for an upgrade and I have been very happy with this phone. It comes with alot of features and is very easy to use. The phone menu is very easy on the eyes and the specs of the phone are outstanding. The camera and camcorder are a nice upgrade from the S3 and really shine with all the customization that can be done when editing. I highly recommend this phone to anyone looking for the perfect option in both value and ease of use. Battery life is also very good and lasts long even when playing games for a long time such as Candy Crush.I even tried the features they show on commercials such as waving my hand to answer the phone and looking away from the screen to pause video and they all work like a charm. You won't be disappointed in this phone. Highly recommended.

Upgraded from Atrix HD and this phone is leaps and bounds better. I can go more than a full day without recharging (sometimes even two if on wifi for part of it). The screen is beautiful and while some may complain about the plastic feel of the phone, I was more than happy with the feel and it didn't feel cheap at all. I prefer the lighter weight and thinness the plastic offers. While some of the features like a humidity/temperature sensor and IR remote feel a little gimmicky, they are cool to play with at times even if they have little practical use. My favorite feature I must say is being able to say snooze when the alarm goes off instead of having to reach for it. My only complaint is that the call quality, especially on speakerphone wasn't that great compared to the Motorola I had before.

I have been a long time iPhone user (since the very first iPhone) and decided to try the Samsung Galaxy S4 because I wanted a more integrated experience with all my Google apps. The phone delivered on that......it ran Android very well. The screen on this device is absolutely outstanding! 5 inches of HD....it's amazing. It brings videos and pics to a whole new level. By far the strongest aspect of this phone. Also, I found the touch screen quite responsive and accurate. Don't get me wrong it can not surpass the iPhone on touch responsiveness and accuracy but I believe that it is the closest anyone has come to being able to compete with Apple on that aspect. But the big beautiful screen comes with a cost - this screen requires so much power that even with it set to only 1/3 brightness it would kill my battery with heavy use by noon each day. Worse....if the screen was powered on (during in vehicle navigation for example) the battery would NOT charge AT ALL despite being plugged in the entire time. Same when I plugged it into my computer. If I didn't have it on or in use it charged slowly. If it was powered on, the battery would NOT charge. I found that if I plugged it into a wall outlet and turned it completely off it charged quickly but it would have to be powered off. Under ideal conditions the image quality of the camera is also quite exceptional; however, the camera does have one very serious flaw - shutter lag. I got really irritated when I would push the shutter button and the camera would have to think about the shot for a second and a half before taking the photo. That makes for lots of missed shots and blurry photos. Another downside with this phone is the plastic construction. Frankly it is pretty flimsy compared to something like the iPhone or HTC. The buttons are also pretty flimsy and I found myself constantly powering the screen on by mistake. Overall a really great device depending on what you really want in a phone and what trade offs you are willing to make.

Since I purchased my Samsung Galaxy S4 they've discontinued them. I can't believe they would discontinue such a GREAT phone. It works better than my newer Samsung Galaxy S7, far better and has a removable battery where the S7 doesn't. They call it progress making what I call throw away phone with batteries that can't be removed and swapped out, but I don't. I call it moving backward. It's Samsung's way of making money off of the consumers. I'll never purchase another Samsung product again. I had the last Samsung phone as a second line, the Samsung Galaxy S5 and loved it. It broke and they replaced it with the Samsung Galaxy S7 saying it was a much better phone, it isn't. There are far too many reasons to mention here, however, I will say that the next purchase when I need a cell phone will be an LG or from a company that still makes phones that has batteries that can be replaced when they go dead, but no longer Samsung unless they change their practice and go back to making non-throw away phones.

Screen is GORGEOUS and processor is FAST! I really like the voice command and air view settings, too. Battery life IMO is comparable to all the other phones out there. I use the power saving setting and turn off the gps & bluetooth when I don't need them. No problems with linking bluetooth and speaker phone is great. Speakers are loud without muffling. My favorite thing about Android platforms is that you can customize your screens to which apps you use frequently and the addition of widgets as well. Not to mention a lot of the popular apps that are free! Overall a very nice phone and the battery life is really better compared to the previous ones
