The accuracy has been off just a few times but only by less than 500 feet. I love that I can get a history report daily. The tag is very well made, strong and highly durable. Happy with my purchase

We appreciate your feedback as we improve the functionality and design of our product line. The SmartTag2 utilizes the SmartThings Find network which consists of many other "findable" Galaxy devices that work as beacons by sending out signals. Once these beacons detect a signal from a device that is being sought out by its owner, they will relay that information to the SmartThings Find network; allowing you to see the approximate location of where your lost SmartTag2 last transmitted its signal. Other Galaxy users that are participating in the SmartThings Find network help with updating your SmartTag2's location within the app. We would be more than happy to assist you with what you may be experiencing with your device, but we need a few more details before we can do so. These advanced trackers, attachable to almost any item, can be easily located via the SmartThings app without incurring additional costs for basic tracking services. These devices are designed to work seamlessly with Galaxy phones and tablets equipped with the latest SmartThings app version. A single device can manage up to 200 SmartTags, though wireless communication limits may restrict simultaneous connections. It's important to note that each item can only be associated with one SmartTag at a time. The SmartTag2 utilizes the SmartThings Find network which consists of many other "findable" Galaxy devices that work as beacons by sending out signals. Once these beacons detect a signal from a device that is being sought out by its owner, they will relay that information to the SmartThings Find network; allowing you to see the approximate location of where your lost SmartTag 2 last transmitted its signal. The representative on the order was very helpful asking questions and reviewing my order before purchasing. Went to my Best Buy store for pick-up. I placed a tag in my car and the other's for luggage before for my flight. Thank you "Best Buy staff."
