Refurbished Samsung EVO 860 Solid State SATA Drive is my 'go-to' replacement for fixing slow computers. Why new computers come with slow 5400 RPM mechanical drives is beyond me. EASY CLONE: Download for free the Samsung Data Migration Software for Consumer SSD and the new drive works and acts like the old drive, but hundreds of times faster.

I originally bought a Samsung 860 Pro years ago when SSD's were just starting to gain traction and paid almost $200 for it, being only 250gig. Now I'm the owner of an SSD double the size for nearly half the price. It really does make any system instantly faster with fast read and right times and having more space means that as I fill it up, the drive will be able to stay healthy for years. You will not be disappointed to own one of these.

I purchased a mid-2012 non-retina MacBook Pro I7 2.6 quad core after my MSI Stealth Pro couldn’t be fixed. Upgraded to 16gb 1.6DDR3, 500gb SSD, and with boot camp to partition windows 10 on my MacBook it is comparable to the MSI Stealth. Except I have a SuperDrive, better battery life, running IOS and Windows, and has reliability of a MacBook Pro!

Pretty good quality for that price, really good for update your laptop

I cloned an old, slow laptop drive onto this Samsung - Geek Squad Certified Refurbished 860 EVO 500GB Internal SATA Solid State Drive, then swapped them. Booted up perfectly and the old, slow laptop is much faster now. Nice, easy speed upgrade.

Samsung SSD's have by FAR the most positive (and least 1 stars) reviews on Amazon of any brand of SSD and since Best Buy was willing to knock off like $20 on a 500GB 860EVO drive I thought why not? My drive arrived with ONLY 3hrs of use! I hope people keep returning them for whatever reason so that they're always available as "refurbs". I certainly wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

Although it's refurbished, it works like new. Worth saving the money.

Picked up the 500 GB model while it was on sale, and installed it in the desktop computer I'm using to write this review (a Dell 9020 SFF). SMART data indicated very low power-on hours and benchmarks matched the published specs for this drive. It is an excellent drive. I'm running Linux Mint, but that doesn't matter to a drive that will run any OS.

I had a 250 GB SSD on my macbook pro mid 2012 and it was filling up. I decided to go for the refurbished drive from BestBuy since most reviews stated they were new drives that were returned. Best decision I made and a super great price! I checked the health of the drive and is was only on for 7 hours. Basically brand new. good purchase, would recommend!

Samsung has always proven to be the best SSD available. I purchased this SSD to replace the HDD in my ASUS touchscreen laptop. The Windows 10 boot time improved from approximately 2 minutes with the HDD to 15 seconds with this Samsung SSD. Night and day difference in overall performance ,.

I have gotten Geek Squad refurbished Samsung 860 EVO SSDs before. They are very lightly used by competent people, not like a "used" SSD with a lot of unknown history. Mine showed no problems in its Samsung Magician report. A great way to buy good quality and save a few bucks!

Great condition - SMART indicated only 50 lifetime power-on hours. Cloned the existing Intel 180 GB SSD that was nearly full to this and it's been working great for 6+ months now.

I installed this on my first computer build and the installed my OS on the drive. The loadup times are amazing, about 7 seconds on fast boot. I love it and it has not crashed or had data corruption yet and it has been well used for gaming and software use.

I highly recommend the Samsung SSD series. They are high quality drives at a great price. The refurbished device had very little usage and exceeded expectations. I will be purchasing this product again.

Even though this is an older generation, the ssd is still extremely reliable and fast. The main thing js that it's stable and has quite good tbe rstings. I bought mine refurbished and only 19 gigs were written so practically brand new.
