The remote control feature really makes things simple. I have it in my living room and it looks like it belongs there as a work of art. Very happy with this purchase.

Other than that great sound great bass

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for the MX-ST40B Sound Tower. We appreciate your thoughts regarding the Bluetooth and the remote design.
The remote doesn't turn on the MX-ST40B Sound Tower when it is in battery stand-by mode, this way you don't accidently turn on the speaker and run the battery down.
It will power on the Sound Tower when it is plugged in.

I purchased a speaker and store for $400 and less than one month later but over the return of two weeks it went on sale to $250. I tried to get Best Buy price match it and they said it was over the two week return. So if you’re good with spending a little extra yes $400 is worth it, but knowing that you can get it for $250 for just waiting a while… Food for thought
